I've owned lots of W-D drives in the past, including several external ones like this. Reliable. Easy to set up and use.

It is an excelent hard drive with a high speed when you use usb 3 port. The only thing made me return it, was that it use a power cord while for same price you can get an portable one with the same capacity

This system is easy to use and was a great deal for the price. Not sure that I'll ever need additional backup storage.

For the money, this device has done a good job of backing up my data. It is not a fast performer nor is it terribly slow. It just takes a while to transfer one or two terabytes of data to this drive. Transfer among internal drives is so much faster. This is a convenient way to move files between my office and home computer.

I'm using this to replace a 2TB media storage drive connected to my nVidia Shield (both of which I purchased at BB of course!) and this was a quick and easy upgrade. Extra points for including all the necessary cables. I'm pleased with the performance and copying over my media files took less time than expected thanks to the speed. Been a little over a month now and am very happy with it!

This external hard drive is just what I needed! 4 tb is plenty of storage and at a great price! Definitely recommend!

This 4TB is plug and play and works easily like past WD drives. The USB 3.0 is much faster than the older version.

The drive is fast, it holds a ton of files. I bought it as a backup drive and it's so far performing as it should. Price was pretty nice. If you need a lot of space for backups, this is a good drive.

Although not as sleek as some other brands, the WD 4tb external drive is fast and reliable. No problems hooking up.

This drive has plenty of space, works fast, and was reasonably priced. A word of warning though - their products do not always survive tech upgrades. The problem with WD is that sometimes their older external drives stop working when new versions of windows come out. It's nothing wrong with their hardware, but software end they chose not to make certain models continue to have drivers. Unfortunately I have a WD "Passport" model that refuses to work on my newer windows computers, so I had to hook it up to an old laptop that still has windows 7 to get some of the data off of it. I fear that every time I upgrade my computer this will be the last time I can use the drive.

This external hard drive is great. Very cheap, and capacious. Western Digital is super reliable which is always nice.

Lots of storage and much cheaper than special Xbox version. Needs to be plugged into the wall as well however.
