Like many people, I had photos here and there, music on several computers, videos everywhere.....I needed to get organized. I bought this, and it's perfect. I filled up 3.5 TB though.....might need a bigger one! I always get rid of the 'auto backup' software. I prefer to run it all myself. So I just hooked up computer after computer, jump-drive after jump-drive, external HDD after external HDD. I built a file system and just loaded, loaded, loaded data onto this beast. Perfect. Flawless. Solid. Fast, reliable and awesome.

This works great for a central network sharing solution for home use. Pictures, movies, and music all in one place. Connected to the wireless switch, it can serve multiple purposes. WD is a justified brand and only gets better with time.

Perfect backup device for laptop and Xbox with more than enough space and speed. I would definitely recommend this to others who want to make a media center one their Xbox one or PlayStation, you can even set it up for cloud storage.

Protecting my data can't be much easier than this. Connect it to the UPS - plug it into the computer - use the software to set up a schedule for backup - forget about it and hope it's never needed ... but it will be needed one day as I have learned several times in the past. I've always had good experience with WD Hard Drives and because of that have never tested the waters of other manufacturers. This is used on a Windows 10 machine so no effort involved. Easy Peasy. If you prefer backing up to an external hard drive, this is a no-brainer.

The last Western Digital drive We had failed pretty quickly. I was always concerned about losing the information on it. This one works really well we can stick a lot of stuff in it and with the new router that we bought can’t complain

While I purchased this hard drive to take out of the external case and put it into a desktop, it works the same and it works great. Western Digital makes great hard drives that are very reliable. Have had absolutely zero issues.

I got this on sale to save all of my important data and it works very good. Got it for a great price. Works pretty well too. Also got one for my ps4 and works great on that as well.

The drive was easy to set up and has WD reliability. I have been using WD drives for over three decades and I have never had a failure. Couple this with an amazing Best Buy price and pick it up service and it cannot be beat.

Nowadays, all external hard drives are portable or shaped to be portable and the ones that are meant to just sit on your desk are too big and take up too much space. I got this external hard drive on sale and thought I would try Western Digital again even though one of their portable ones gave out on me and I lost a lot of data. I guess that was a fluke or maybe it was an old hard drive. Either way, I guess there's a reason why Western Digital is still around. I like that it has it's own cloud service as well. I like that it feels like it belongs on my desk and won't fall off. Looks nice too. I hope it lasts as long as my Lacie Rugged or my old Seagate external hard drive. Either way, I've learned to back up my work on multiple hard drives and flash drives.

Easy to use and set up very reliable always by WD drives

Working great so far! I have it connected USB 2.0 because I have an older computer. It's working fine on USB 2.0 and the speeds are acceptable. Mainly wanted it for extra storage space for HDHomeRun DVR recordings.

Nice product that meets my expectations. Very slim profile that slips easily into my backpack. Comes with cord. Auto set up after you plug. First back up took sometime but I also work on large files. Very good value.

Good storange, I love it and is very easy to use. For traveling is not that big so you can carry this product everywhere

I bought the hard drive to connect it to my PS4. The drive is big enough for the current games I have and also sturdy enough. For the price, the drive meets the intent. Fast and free shipping was also a nice incentive. Performance-wise, I do not see a lag with the drive. I have no idea which type of drive is inside but a couple of reviews have said the drive spins at 5400rpm, I cannot confirm that.

I bought the WD easystore to save videos, music and movies. Easy to start using right out of the box. I have almost 500gb saved so far and not a problem. It's sleek, somewhat smalll and quiet.

This portable hard drive was easy to install for my Xbox One S after taking it out of the box. I was able to set it up quickly and it offers ample storage for numerous Xbox games. This large external hard drive is very useful considering the large download sizes of most of the Xbox One games that are being released currently. I would say that this external hard drive is an excellent purchase for anyone looking for a larger hard drive for their Xbox One system.

The 4tb WD hard drive has been a very dependable drive and have used the 2tb drives in many servers. I have a 1tb drive that has been in service for over 6 years. Wow, love Western Digital hard drives.

This external USB drive was ready to use right out of the box. I did not use the WD backup software that was included, as I already had Norton backup running. Great performance at a very good price.

This product did everything that I needed it to do. We bought this since our laptop is on the verge of dying and we backed everything up onto this device. We still have plenty of room to spare too!

Bought this to backup my old pc to transfer to my new one. 4TB is more then I needed, but the sale price was awesome. Just hook it up, backup, and transfer, what more could I want, LOL. I love it.
