4TB of space External Drive with 3.0 USB connectivity. It's very fast and quiet. I wanted an external drive that was reliable, and I have found WD as the best. I have never had a failed drive from WD. BestBuy had this drive on sale for 84.99, which was an awesome deal. Trust Western Digital for your storage needs.,

Its plenty big enough to backup 3 laptops and a desk top so it works for me. Always good to back up your files, you never know when disaster will hit and you loose everything, trust me I KNOW!!!

I loved my carefree 1T USB-powered 'My Passport' until it started running out of backup space, and finally stopped working altogether. I chose this larger format plug-in powered 4T backup drive over a smaller format similarly large capacity USB-powered version which i thought might be pushing its design limits, sacrificing reliability for the sake of small size. Although it's a bit less convenient and portable i'm happy with my decision.

I originally bought this as an external for my PS4 and it worked better than I hoped! Then, I felt weird about my console having more memory so I bought another one for my PC. So far so good!

I bought 3 of these easystore units. Two were from one store and were both WD Blue drives. The third was from a different store and was a WD Red drive. If you get the Red drive it is definitely a good deal. If you get the blue drive, it comes out a little cheaper than buying the drive by itself. So, either way it is a good deal. I did not use them as a standalone external drive so I can't comment on the quality of the backup software that comes with the drive.

This is my 5th WD external hard drive I bought. (Knock on wood) I haven’t had any problems so far with Western Digital hard drives. 4TB is a lot of space needed for anything you want to store.

I was looking for a large capacity drive to backup my desktop computer. I prefer the WD drives. It works just like it should. I also use a 2TB WD external drive to back up the kids computer.

this is the third HDD i've purchased to add to my network... i'm backing up multiple HDD connected to my airport extreme via USB hub... I can see each HDD on my network and backup to it.

I bought this for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He was running out of room on his PS4 and this worked out perfect ! It is bigger than what I expected it to be but serves its purpose.

I bought this drive during a very good sale. Although it's a WD drive inside it comes with one less year of warranty coverage but I have several WD drives and they have lasted years beyond their warranties. Every spinning hard drive will fail eventually but the cost of similar size SSD's, if they were even available, would be exorbitant. Less than $25/TB is hard to beat. 4TB should be enough for all your files, music, video, and pictures.

I bought this hard drive to store additional games for our Microsoft Xbox One S .Works seamlessly with the hard drive. As always, great price and product from Best Buy. I had an older HP external drive, but it was not compatible with my new Windows 10 computer, so I bought this one to replace it.

Using this for scanning photos and collecting them all in one place. This is perfect for this project. Easy to use and will eventually be able to backup to additional cloud source.

I needed a decent external drive for backups and the WD 4TB drive is perfect. Good size to hold backups for quite some time. Not the fastest around but since I'm pushing a few files at a time it works fine for that. Quiet and does seem to run fairly cool. I have had it for a little while so far no bad sectors. Previous WD external drives lasted for years most still running so this should last as well.

It works great for me! I needed the extra memory to storage the photos i take. I suggest everyone to have one since computers can die and a lot of times data cant't be recovered.

This is a great drive with a large amount of storage for movies, pics, documents. USB 3.0 makes it quick to recover the information. Yes, it is a larger size, but that is because this is a full size desktop hard drive inside with the durability to match. Those smaller versions of portable hard drive use notebook hard drives that have no where near the life span and that you can literally smash with very little effort if dropped.

I was looking for an external hard drive to hold my rather large collection of videos. This drive was perfect, it works well and will allow me to keep my collection growing.
