Easy install, very fast. The LED light can be annoying if you are in the dark but can be shut off.

Perfect drive for what I needed. Large amounts of raw photos for work and I needed a portable hd with a large capacity. Pleased with this purchase and at a great price.

I have used Western Digital over the last decade for most of my drives and still have many of them. Fortunately they are smaller, larger, cheaper, with less moving parts now. This drive was a deal of the day and was perfectly priced/timed with Hurricane Florence being a possibility. This allowed us to quickly back up all computers on one drive to be able to quickly take with us if needed.

Well, i got the hard disk for only 80$ with 20$ 8x8 shutterfly photo book, which i think was THE best deal for 4 TB hard disk. You won't regret it.. just try this one

This has lasted for over 2 years, and I still haven't had problems with it thank goodness, it's a very good hard drive and tons of storage I always and forever will recommend having more storage than less because it's always good to have more yes it will cost more but it's worth it more than I recommend Black Friday deals or getting deals in general

I bought this as a gift for one of my sons to use with his PS4 and he said installation went quick and easy and loves having extra storage now for his games. Now he doesn't have to decide which game to swap out on his PS4 Hard drive (500GB) when he wants to load a new one. He's even shared what he got with friends from out of state and 2 of them bought the same thing! I can't sell it better than that!

As an editor, I was running out of external space for my projects. I was using a 2TB drive and it was almost full of old video projects. I decided to get me something with a bit more storage and this fits the bill perfectly. It's upload speeds are great, it is affordable, and I can store a ton of video files (mostly 1080x1920 h.264 or AVCHD). It was a no brainer for me.

Works as expected and compatible with OS and Windows. Very fast downloading. I also use it as an OS time capsule backup device.

I currently have this plugged into my Netgear Nighthawk for a readyshare server. The drive is handling being split into 5 partitions very well and it works great on all of my MacBooks/PCs when it comes to running daily TimeMachine backups/local cloud storage.This also handles storing videos and movies very well as I can access the files quickly. I only recommend this specific size model to people who are wanting to run huge backups on a disk drive, and/or people who want to run a local cloud storage. Make sure to only buy these drives when they're on sale! Other than that, it's an amazing product!

I always get WD hard drives as I have had the best luck with them. Always reliable - have other sizes from several years ago that still work. Easy to set up and use.
