    Great item, picked it up at $61 with reward certs, easy to install but wish it didn't come with so much software, a link to download the software would be sufficient and would provide the latest version available. Power supply looks generic and cheap but works fine. Would buy item again.

    Got this because my dish network receiver was bad and needed replaced. Didn't want to lose all my DVR stuff so I got this and backed them all up. Drive worked great and was simple to setup.

    My Book External Hard-drive. Has 2 terra-bytes of memory, sufficient for forseeable future use. Easy to install and use. Fast processor. Enabled me to migrate all my business files from a failing 8 year old PC to a new HP Pavilion 500-164. Excellent product.

    Immediately recognized by my Mac. Only issue is that you need to snap the transformer plug into the socket; if it's not completely plugged into the outlet it won't be recognized. other than that- quiet, doesn't get hot, great for time machine back-up
