Good for storing video

It took 15 min to register it, but other than that it didn't take too long to install. The only beef I have with this is that you have to buy a special cord to replace the one it comes with if you lose it. It doesn't use a standard USB cord. So just don't lose it.

Large external drive
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.While the box clearly states plug-play and compatible with both Mac and PC the drive will need to be re-formatted in order to be used with a Mac. The first time you plug it in it will not be readable by your Mac, but you can find it with some aftermarket disk software and reformat it that way so your Mac can see it. Haven't plugged it into a PC yet so I will have to see if it can go back to PC without having to wipe it again.

Solid external HDD

Just plug it in and format the drive and your good to go. It has a decent read/write speed and seems to have increased loading times marginally at best, not as quick as a solid state drive would but a fraction of the cost per gig. I would recommend this to anyone looking to increase hard drive space for their Xbox.
