While the product did what it was supposed to, I was disappointed with the transfer speed.

Love that I have this portable mobile available for use as simply as a plug in! Great to get all of the necessary stuff off my laptop for safety but still have it accessible for when needed!

I bought it because of its design. Needed something that fitted in with its environment. It just gets on and does its job. No techie complications. It size of 2 tbs fits everything that I will need to store.

Works as it should. No complaints yet. Plugged in and ran formatting procedure. Worked the first time and haven't looked back. Do have to keep track of specific USB cord. Be nice it if was USB on both ends.

So for so good, I really like the "security" feature. I have a smaller external hard drive also as a redundant fail safe, but man I like the WD- My Book and its features. Its sure to please!

My old computer didn't like the program. I couldn't get it to work. Geek Squad to the rescue! For a fee! They also are fixing the old computer. It has windows XP. Bought a new tower with windows 8.1, so I should be able to add stuff myself now! Problem was my computer not the My Book!

Wanted a dedicated back up drive for our home PC. This, once set up, runs all on its own. Occasional software update from WD to keep it running smoothly. No problems, no issues, runs great.

Originally, I bought two drives. This one was to supplement my DVR. However, it turned out that Dish would only support 2Tb drives. So, I used this as back up to my computer instead. I have always used Western Digital and they have performed well.

This external drive comes with simple software that installs quickly and is easy to use. I like the option of choosing between a continuous and scheduled backup.

My sons computer was running slow. Needed to free up space so it would run better and this was a great way to do so.

I had a My Book for 6 years until a power surge knocked out the power supply in it. I replaced it with another and it really was as simple as plugging it in.

I had one of these for 5 years and it filled up with data so I had to get another one. It is a great item for safe backups, and the backup software that comes with it is great.

I love this product! I use it primarily in my office and it serves it's purpose and doesn't take up much space. great if yur constantly saving files

It works perfect with my Xbox one. It's fast go figure. It's sleek and black I'm thinking about getting one more for my Xbox one in my bedroom.
