Great drive with good price/capacity ratio .5TB! Huge storage capacity at a great price. Reliable, I put a lot of workload on this and got good results.

I bought this a few months ago to expand the storage space on my Xbox One. I plugged it in the Xbox formatted it and I was good to go. It was great seeing my used storage percentage go from 98% to 7.8%. I moved all my games over to the WD since things load faster from an external HD than the original internal. (Which is pretty noticeable on some games) It has worked fine ever since. Knock wood.

Needed a drive with lots of storage space. For the price, This was an incredible deal. With NTFS formatting, I was able to copy files that I can read on either my PC or Mac. Runs fast and silent... Oh yeah... Before I forget, if you are on a Mac, DO NOT install their software! It will eject the drive without your doing so. If you can live without the software, this is for you!

Never been simpler. 1) plug into power. 2) plug into computer 3) transfer data as I choose! I have a MAC and cannot seem to get it to partition. I'm sure that it is ignorance on my part though. More to learn about computers. Even the simple stuff is learning. The price of the 5 GB was less expensive than the 4 GB while both were on sale. I'll take it!

As a photographer, storage for my digital images is critical. The WD - My Book 5 TB External Hard Drive is perfect for me. The drive was simple to connect to my computer and very easy to use. Image storage and retrieval is a pleasure, as I designed the filing system and the read/write speed is much better than my older external hard drives!

WD has always been my go-to company for hard drives. Although I have had good success with Seagate and Toshiba, my WD drives always seemt to last longer with less problems. This purchase was a good product at a great price. I hooked it up to my primary computer to use as File History backup in Windows 10 and it works great.

I previously bought the 1TB version of this external hard drive, and it's been great...still going strong. As time went on, I realized I needed more space. It just so happened that this one was on sale for a cheaper price than the 4TB version at some competitors. Lucked up when I found this gem.

I looled at a lot of reviews and WD seem to lead the pack. Got a really good deal on this one and it is working great via USB 3.0 and computers. Have yet to plug it into my router, though, but that is the main reason why I got this one - lots of options, lots of grat reviews and lots of SPACE.

I found this drive through a deals site for $100 and I used a rewards cert as well. $95 for 5TB is a great price for a WD drive. I needed the drive on the inside for a NAS box I was building at the time. No problems whatsoever. I've never had a WD drive fail on me <knock knock>

I bought this for my Xbox One since it didn't take long to fill up the 1tb internal drive. I am extremely satisfied with it. No issues connecting or setting it up whatsoever. Works like a champ and makes no noise at all. At $119 the price was more than right for a 5tb drive.

I like all of the Western Digital external drives I have ever had. Good product. I haven't been using this one very long yet but if it's like my other drives from Western Digital, I don't believe I will have any problems. This is good for a backup which I use it for.

I purchased this external hard drive for use on my xbox one. I wanted maximum storage since xbox games use up so much memory. This drive works great and was very easy to set up. Highly recommended.

I have been using this product for some time now, as an addition to my previously purchased seagate backups. It has been bulletproof, though I prefer the software of the seagate products more. Nevertheless, this is s great product!

I use this drive to transport my movies and pics between locations. So much of what I do is offline and the USB 3 sure speeds up transfers to and from my various computers. It is sized to that I can keep multiple versions of a production. Nice drive.

I bought this to expand the memory on my XBox One and it couldn't have been easier. I plugged it in and it was automatically formatted for the console. Boot times for games have gotten better and I have enough space to last me for quite awhile now.

I purchased this hard drive to be my secondary drive for my Xbox one. It has been great. I have downloaded about a half dozen games so far and have never had any trouble with this drive being the primary access point for my Xbox one.

Wanted an big external hard drive to store movies and tv shows I've been recording with Playon. This really fit my need. Great price on sell, lot's of storage space, and working flawlessly. Don't know what more you could ask for.

This hard drive has ample storage for keeping large files such as movies and music as well as documents. It was easy to convert it to use with Mac which was great. Great product for a user who need ample storage space.

I purchased this for family use. Hooked up to my router. everyone has 1TB of storage at their disposal. Much easier (and less expensive) than buy separate internal OR external hard drives.
