The price was right. It has a lot of space to store all of my data and some. It's like retreviewing info from the computer. I cloud storage is most difficult to retrieve archived data.

I have a few of this item in different storage capacities for different types of media. As with the others, this one performs excellent. I would not hesitate to buy more if needed.

My partner got this before the holidays and just set it up. It works perfectly with his cloud drive. Great price. I wish I had seen it at that price--I would have bought one too!

I have several Western Digital hard drives. They have always been reliable over the last 10 years. Five Terabytes is quite a lot of storage space. If you don't have multiple copies of your data then one day it may be gone forever. Worth the investment.

This is the fourth drive of this type that I have purchased but also the largest. No difference in bringing it on line. 5 minutes and I am back to work. The best drive for an external backup just like the smaller systems that I used the others on.

Drive has awesome storage capacity for the price sold. Great for archiving files. USB 3.0 works great - compatible with USB 2.0 as well. Highly recommend.

It was just a few yeas ago that I paid this same price for a 1TB USB 2 hard drive. I can easily partition this drive and back up everything I have.
