I have purchased western digital for years and been extremely happy with them. This purchase is no exception. Excellent price, very good quality, and all of them have been very reliable.

I do a lot of creative work and need to store and backup the files in a safe place, it has plenty of storage space and knock on wood I haven't had any problems, I'm in for another one.

Love the new size of this external drive. Have moved several of my smaller 2TB drives onto this larger unit to have everything in one place taking up less space as well.

As time goes on they come out with larger TB external hard drives. I had multiple drives and was able to combined all of them into this one and had memory to spare.

I have a desktop computer at home. I took apart the case with little effort and used this as an internal drive. Fantastic for backup and extra storage. Reliable brand.

I have purchased WD products before and have never been let down. Eight TB's is a ridiculous amount of storage, but it is better to have the space than need the space.

I own two of these 8tb WD drives and they work very fast and have been flawless. I would definetly recommend this drive for some serious back up of important files.

Western Digital is a great product. This drive is easy to set up and to use. Great customer support for working out those small start up bugs.

I purchase these drives as internal backups for client servers that also are backed up to the cloud. Plug them in and they run. old product.

This 8TB really does the trick, I work in video and graphics and it works flawlessly.

For those that always create multimedia and running out of storage space on your computer, this is the way to go!

I like it. I bought it for my new TV. It has a sleep mode out of box set to 30 min. You can turn it off with the software it comes with. And be warned, Windows 7 reports the capacity at 7.27TB not 8. Not sure if it is the helium filled drive. Nothing about it printed on the box. I already want another one.

I use this drive to backup my PC storage instead of a cloud base system. At least I know where my data is.

Works as expected. I've gotten external HD from the MyBook line for years, never had a problem with them.

I got this hoping to get the better drive that was initially released with this product, but was happy with this one even at the 5400 rpm. Quick enough for my media server

The price for the amount of storage this unit supplies is great. Product works like it should.

Need more storage for my PC.So I went big. Seagate had a cheaper model, but this design looked and fix the location I want the external drive to go.
