Used for 2 months now. My write speeds connected through USB3 and Windows 10 are never faster than 25 MB per second. I have never seen any HDD this slow. The platter speed must be 1200 rpm based on how slow it is. Huge capacity but at the cost of VERY sluggish performance. I have another WD HDD external drive with 6TB storage. It spins at 7200 rpm and writes at 125 MB per second. If you can tolerate how slow this drive writes, then go for it. It gets the job done.. . .like a 95 year old grandmother.
