I love WD storage devices. The best for the price in my opinion.

I've bought a number of these drives for backup. They work great out of the box, already formatted for the Mac. I use mine with TimeMachine, but it can be used with any backup software.

I have a mac laptop and this product is compatible and easy to use.

This replaced a 2TB LaCie, very quick with imaging the disk. No problems with setup, and working great.

Very quiet. It runs in the back ground with out me noticing.

This is a pretty good router. Doesn't really have any issues.

I have owned many hard drives from many manufactures, and I come back to Western Digital drives. I like the fact they sit upright, and they run cooler than the Seagate drives that I own. I definitely recommend these 3TB drives.

Hard Drive is slowly going out on IMAC, bought this so I could backup everything before it crashes. I love the piece of mind knowing that it automatically backs up all my data each night! This is a must own.

This is my second one and I'm totally satisfied with it.

My first WD My Book is a 1TB USB 2.0 about 4 years old now and hasn't given me a bit of problems. That's why I went with this one, build is sturdy and the price was excellent! I use it as the backup drive for my MacBook Air.

It's always nice when a product meets the expectations. I purchased a 3 TB external drive because I needed additional storage capacity for my iMac as I shoot a lot of video. This unit was very easy to set up and install, runs very quietly, and is relatively small - approximately 1" wide, 5" deep, and 6" tall. Once installed, it is seamless in its functionality. I may have been able to purchase it for a few dollars less somewhere else but it was still a very good value. Additionally, this device gives you the option to use this as a storage backup with Time Machine. I have now been using this product for 3 months and I am very pleased with it. I rarely take the time to write a product review but I felt compelled to do so for this one. If needed, I would purchase this again.

Purchased the WD - My Book for Mac 3TB External USB 3.0 Hard Drive 50 days ago and have had no problems. Opened the box, hooked up the power and cables and began the backup. This one for Mac works great.
