For a one time price and easy setup, this replaces several subscription cloud-based services that I have been using. Both local and remote access work perfectly, and I am able to share files with others with a simple click via email. 3 TB for me is plenty big! I have been using this device for about a month now, and it just works. My single word review: Wow.

Overall, the price was right for what you get. The fact that you can add more memory to the back of the device is what ultimately sold me. For the most part, I've been able to download/upload my files with ease.

Nice to be able to access files remotely and it has plenty of space. Worth the price. It's not hard to use but could be much more user friendly. The app can be very slow at times. Customer support is not good.

This NAS storage device works well when streaming content at home or externally. device comes with free IOS and Android app, and can also be connected to remotely with installed software on PC or MAC. The device can be automatically detected by most DLNA enabled hardware (my ps3 adn smart tv were able to see the drive almost immediately) This device also has an onboard usb port for chaining in a secondary usb stick or harddrive for more storage or transfer of files as needed.

I got this as a Christmas gift. I am the "Magiver" of external storage. My wife knows I carry a lot of jump drives so, she thought this would be perfect. And she was right! I can access all my files anywhere in the world! I can even have a folder in there for friends to send/receive files as well. This saves me time and having to carry around several drives. Great too if you forget something on your laptop. Just sign in & grab it! It's extremely quiet too and its speed is pretty decent.

I needed something fairly cheap and easy to replace as my storage needs grow but could still give me good performance. I decided to get this for storing media for streaming purposes. It has a transfer rate of about 100 mb/s to my wired primary desktop. It also works great as a storage drive for Plex, I am able to stream uncompressed 1080p movies wirelessly without any buffering.

If you are looking at using the cloud for storing pictures or files then you need to look at My Cloud. A personal storage center for your whole family to use without putting personal data out in some data center across the country.

I bought it just to have my own Cloud instead of using virtual Cloud from third party company. Its easy to setup just follow the instructions. Right now I have an compatibility issue from JAVA. Since I updated my iOS to Maverick. I can not access it thru my MAC when let say I'm in a different place. That's the point why I bought this, to access my files wherever I am. Hoping that Java will have the patch on this issue sooner. Not happy right now!

This drive was simple to set up and use. Love that I can connect to it from anywhere and with multiple devices!

I purchase a 3 TB and may pick up another one. Price was great ! And I do a lot of video editing, upload a lot of sports videos and space is no longer a problem anymore. More space than I need and 1 more will be my back up.

Initial setup was very easy, as was adding it to all the devises in the house. I think its pretty cool that I can access all my pics, videos and docs from anywhere.

Works great exactly what I needed. Plenty of storage and responsive on my network. Very easy to install.

The back up and storage capabilities are great once I got the user guide figured out. It took some searches on Google to bring it down to my level. I suppose if you are very techie, it is probably a no-brainer.

Bought this because my wife doesn't know how to delete anything from her computer, and her HD was filling up fast. Easy to set up. Mid-range transfer speeds. Not a bad product for first time home cloud storers.

product works great and is very convenient when I need to back up my photos on my phone iPad etc. I wouldn't recommend this if you were going to stream full movies though unless you have an amazing router

I decided to try this model for storage and was a bit concerned with access speed but the drive has been quit reliable. I think this is a simple but powerful tool and very reasonably priced for what it offers.

it is good back up for whole family, it can share between different devices on same wifi. but i need a back up for my self. it not for single person, more family stuff. so i exchange to a normal hard drive.

Overall, this is a good product. It was super easy to set up when connected to the same wifi network. My only trouble so far has been connecting to using the iPhone app using cellular or other networks.

Very good HD for keeping back up of important documents, pictures etc. phone app is great, automatically backs up pics as soon as in the home wifi network

Cloud storage for home networking was easy to install and set up on three computers got all my back ups done and safe. The outside connect to my cloud off the internet I might use but I don't think so.
