I purchased this external hard drive with the intention of being able to hook up my iTunes and apple photos with it and access them anywhere with WiFi. Sadly, this hasn’t worked yet, and I’ve had to take it with me whenever I wanted to access my media. Maybe I’m doing it wrong, but it could also be more intuitive when it says it can handle Apple products.

I've had the MyCloud 6TB External Hard Drive for about a month now. So far no major problems. Set up is a bit trickier than they would lead you to believe particularly on multiple devices. You may have to adjust your security setting during the setup process. Once set up it has performed as expected.

There are lots of "No device available" and doesn't back up time machine. Initially restarted by pushing clip in restart opening for 4/5secs. This worked one time only. Seems like i shouldn't be having these many issues just trying to access or upload. I can't say at this point that I trust that this is a good back up of our things, especially if you can't access your stuff remotely.

Easy to use and even easier to give access to family and friends and share old memories and new. It sits right on my desk and the stylish design blends right in. I have already recommended it to my friends

Going from cord to cloud storage was intimidating. This product is great.

Been using this as a storage device for storing media files for use with my Raspberry Pi 2. Very easy to setup and can access from anywhere if needed. Would highly recommend this for any storage needs.

Fairly simple to set up. Great option to the commercial clouds.

I was able to set it up quickly and connect it to my wifi but the instructions for accessing the mycloud were not very clear. I was trying to use the email address that I sat it up under but it wants you to use the name of the cloud that you created. I did not see that in the instructions maybe I missed but that was the only issue that I have had so far.

We set ours up to share with our whole family. Each person has their own files and we have public files as well. Everything about this works great. I recommend this to my customers.

I went in for an external hard drive. They sold me this and I love it! I can access it anywhere and run my business smoothly. No problems so far! I have had it about a month.

I found this item very hard to set up. Had a hard time getting everything in the house to connect.

This is the perfect NAS for a wireless network. It works with all my Apple products.

Still confused as to where the data is. I'd like to use the drive as a local drive that I can then connect to my router when I travel so I can access data when on the road. I'll see how that works.

Nice product for the price. Not to difficult to setup.
