I purchased this product after my Seagate Central took a snooze. I am very partial to WD equipment as it always works, works well, and works for a long time. This product has not disappointed. It was an easy setup and has been working flawlessly since. Highly recommend.

I have had MyCloud for a coupe of months and it is as stated great for storing all documents and pics and can access them from my phone and tablet and my laptop when on the road or at home and the file is changed on any device and the change is good on all devices.

I purchased 3 outdoor, wireless cameras, they did come with storage, but I wanted them to store up to at least 1 month. This ethernet drive is perfect for my application.

Set up was easy. Haven't really figured out how to add other users. Still very easily accessible from any device.

This is a large capacity hard drive that is totally wireless. The software is easy to use and setup is not to difficult. If you have a numerous fire to transfer, it will take some time. You can not transfer files with a USB connection from a computer directly. The added usb 3 port is slow transferring files from another hard drive., and once again you can only transfer files from your computer wirelessly. It is also difficult to figure out how to copy files on the drive back to another computer or hard drive. Lots of storage, but difficult to use. I would look for a drive that does both wireless and usb 3 transfers all in one I'd they sell them.

I bought this because I needed more backup storage. Plus I was interested in the "cloud" features. So far it's been great! Easy to set up was a nice bonus. Love being able to have my pictures from my Samsung Note 5 (with no SD card option) automatically backed up to my own personal cloud.

Buy these and you will never have to pay for Dropbox again. Easy setup and works from anywhere in the world. Score!!!

With the mobile app I can access any of my music, photos, docs & random media on my phone from anywhere. Don't have to save anything on my mobile device. Have my external hooked up to it as well for EVEN MORE space. Easy to set up. Easy to use. Drag & drop. Only downfall, apps will only play certain formats for music files. Windows media files won't play on iOS or android. Otherwise very enthusiastic 2 thumbs up.

I purchased the WD My Cloud to store files offline to free up my hard drive. It is easy to use, and no problems with it so far.

I was willing to sacrifice a little speed in my backups for some of the convenience of the cloud feature. My backup times increase 12-15x, and that is following the best practices per WD. I also had issues with setup so had to contact WD. Their level 1 support was not very helpful. They escalated they incident to level 2 who was supposed to contact me on Monday (I opened the call on Saturday). 3 weeks later and I still haven't heard from them, but I've returned the product. As for my technical problem, I was able to resolve that by finding similar problem on the internet. Would be nice if WD provides a list of the technical requirements needed (i.e. services, registry entries, etc), at least via FAQ. As this is something that could have been resolved when I initially searched their site. But with the super poor performance, I am reverting back to drive connected directly to my PC.

Easy to install and set up. Allow multi users access with different passwords.

I got my cloud backup storage for my pictures and backup my computer and it was so easy and for my phone backup pictures

Interface is a bit wonky, but it stores our files as promised.

I purchased a 6tb WD MyCloud device at the beginning of 2015. Big Mistake! I had to have the original drive replaced and the second drive is beginning to have the same problems the first drive had. Slow, unresponsive, difficult to administer, unavailable on any network, poorly written software, buggy updates, and basically a brick using electricity. If I could take mine back and get my money back, I would. I have had nothing but disappointment with this product. DO NOT BUY!

We use this to backup all our devices. We also use the cloud for a few items, but I like having a personal backup for my laptops as well. You can never have too many backups of your important data!

Up and running quick with little effort. App could use some work though.

I already have WD MyCloud drives. I needed additional storage for the camera security system I recently installed and this made the most sense.

The capacity is excellent the Hard drive has excellent velocity

After a lot of research decided on the Western Digital MyCloud. The price was very competitive and the setup was very easy as I do not have any experience in setting up clouds or networks.

I was able to get my cloud system setup relatively quickly and easily. Instructions were spot on and the process was very easy to follow.
