Just follow the instructions and it works great. It is a bit SLOW at uploading large files/movies, though. Be sure to use the recommended ethernet connection and be patient.

It's working very well install not bad. Can get a bit confusing in all the options for using it on the o line tools and takes a little getting used to navigating through the menus. Overall great convenient storage.

First one I got was DOA out of the box, BestBuy replaced it on the spot. Very easy to setup, works like a champ. Can stream movies from my drive directly to my HDTV. Installed the app on my iphone and ipad.. everything backed up automatically. Very VERY happy with it.

Purchased the my cloud hard drive since I was close to capacity on my internal drive and wanted access to all my files without paying monthly fees. Setup was a breeze and it works great. Now I have access to all my personal and business file from all my devices.

Was easy to setup using the MyCloud site and the app works as advertised. Streaming music works easily as well.

This 6TB beauty is great. I can access files or stream my videos from anywhere... But... 2 issues... cannot stream Divx or mkv files via network. Don't know why. Has to be native mp4. Second issue is USB3 port... I attached Mt 1TB My Book to it. It is massively slow. It literally seems to use the internet connection the move files from My Cloud to My Book instead of moving directly. No auto back up setting to usb external drive to back up something in the my cloud

The setup of this drive was incredibly easy and integrated well with my Apple devices.

Some functionality issues accessing from mobile devices. Super slow. Still the best option for in house cloud, just not as fast and easy as I was hoping.

Performance is slower than I was hoping for, but consistent with how NAS devices perform. They never seem very fast. We use this as a "warehouse" to store backup sets and it works great for that.

Set up last night, so far it seems to be doing the job. A little bit of a learning curve if you are new to networking, but they do have a learning center attached that helped me get started

I've bought a number of computer back-up storage drives over the years and the Western Digital My Cloud is the best product so far! The build quality and performance is excellent and the overall size is fairly compact. Highly recommended!
