Got this WD EX2 and added 2 Seagate NAS drives. Thought I might have issue as it's a WD NAS box. No issues!!!! Works great and does everything it's supposed to do. Setup was super easy and took less than 1 hour with adding the drives and all.

This is the second unit that I have bought for backup. Easy to setup - less than 15 minutes from unboxing to power on. Good for the more technically inclined as you can choose the drives for this device and save some money if you shop around.

Easy to use and set up. Recognized my drives and fired up right away. You will need to use FTP software like Filezilla or WinSCP in order to transfer files so bear that in mind.

Love these drives, not the new version though. This allows whole family to see all photos and videos from any device. Dripped in 2 3TB drives and bam 6TB of storage that doesn't cost me $200 a year. Using the Amazon cloud to backup photos and unraid for everything else.

A very good a NAS drive. Great way of media and data backup and redundancy. The user friendly WD software gives many configuration options; can be configured to get similar services like Dropbox or one box.

I picked this up mostly as a storage device for tv recordings but I’ve found it useful in all sorts of things. I’ve since relocated my iTunes library to it and actually am using as part of smart home control. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Super quick install and configuration. I'm not a huge fan of using WDs software but it's easy to get around like their other cloud devices.

Popped in some 6TB NAS drives as setup was really easy. Runs quite, and you can shut off the front lights if you have it in a bedroom.

This is a great NAS device. The cloud capabilities are a massive plus. The web management is presented in a way that is easy for the average person to understand. I needed to update the firmware before cloud access was able to be turned on, this wasn't clear in the directions.
