  • Dead Simple NAS for Home

    Received my PR4100 24TB NAS today, as projected, and it took longer to boot up than for me to physically install it. Plugged it in, hooked the included ethernet cable into my managed switch right off the main eero router, pushed the power button and voila! Proceeded to move about 3TB of music up to the already established Shared Music Public share and a handful of movies. All moved very quickly for the amount of data (all via ethernet). Also installed the WD OS5 (My Cloud) apps on all of our phones to auto-backup pictures and videos from all of thr phones in the family. Will set up computer backups later, but don't anticipate encountering any issues there. I am very pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a storage solution in their home.

    Great small home server. I wish it could do more but unfortunately it can only do the basics. Great for storing pictures, and home files.

    Did lots of research prior to ordering this. Mainly got it for the Plex capabilities but having 18TB available in RAID5 is awesome. Excellent management console and the apps available make usage a breeze. Highly recommend.
