So glad I purchased this little device! Much smaller in size than I imagined. Very easy to set up and access on demand. It will hold MUCH MUCH more than I will ever use - but that's OK. Took a lot off the cloud - so quickly and easily!! Very pleased with this purchase - as I usually am when I buy from Best Buy !!

It's great for storing all those files you don't need to often but don't want to delete. Plenty space, great price. Just be careful not to drop it or shake it to much, files can get corrupted. But with normal use it's pretty good and It should last for a good while.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He has an XBOX1 and was not able to add a new game due to memory space, This was the perfect alternative to upgrading our system. It's small and hooks up easily and has created an opportunity to load and store more games. Very happy with its cost and usefulness.

Amazing quality! Very fast transfer speeds, load times, tons of space/price, and so quiet. Not a huge block either, very easy to store without being a hassle! Great for traveling as well!!!

I recently purchased the WD - My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations as a reliable and portable storage solution. Is large enough to store all my personal documents so I don't have to have an extra PC, and can just attach to my work computer. It saved me hundreds of dollars and I'm able to easily just travel with it....as it's small enough to slide into my laptop bag. Plenty of storage and no corruption or issues to date! 3.7.20

This is my second WD scan disk and it is the perfect size and the right amount of storage.

WD external hard drives are always great. The one I got was 2TB and it’s slim and perfect for travel. Only caveat is that the WD software won’t install. I even tried to download it directly from the website with no luck. -1 star for not being able to download the program for data recovery.

The disk was easy to install on my Mac - The time machine found it or vice versa and asked if I wanted to use for backup and installed in seconds. Very small and unobtrusive but have the comfort of knowing the computer is being backed up. Very inexpensive with more than ample space for backups.

works great. this is my second one. i bought this to replace the first because it kept randomly disconnecting but it did last 5 or 6 years even with me using it to download steam games. after i got it, the new one was doing the same. realized the issue was the usb port, not the hard drive. so now i have two of these and they both work great!. im using the old one exclusively for games and the new one for my files and photos now. It outlasted my laptop by at least a year (I got the first one before I got this computer)

Great price! Very easy to use. Perfect for storing documents and pictures and very reliable. Have two of them and will get couple more.

I have had several WD My Passports and they are easy to use and seem to work great (except for the lemon Ultra I got that I swapped out for this). I am able to download all of my action camera and other photos from my laptop and free up significant space on my computer. No need to get a huge expensive hard drive on my computer, these do the same job and are also a safer option to store my content and to move to another computer when/if needed.

Great storage for the price! Easy to use. Just plug and play. Wonderful way to store all of our pictures.

This is the third WD-My Passport I've had over the last 10+ years. The others are still working, but I like to replace them periodically, as my primary backup, just in case. They keep working, so I stick with the same brand. I found the WD Backup software to be a little more flexible for setting up than the WD Smartware from my prior drive, but it provides less information during the backup, so am overall less satisfied with the newer software. It did take me three tries to install the WD Backup software. The other utilities that came with the drive installed with no problem.

It's so small and inexpensive when it's on sale. WD warrants it a few years. And they are reliable. If you want to save backup cloud cost and have lots of data to protect then this is good solution.

Small but mighty. I used this portable drive to hold all my download music collection and movies in which i've collected over time. This device can be plugged into smart tv's and used as if you are on a computer. Excellent for the price .

Love it!!! I have a full 2TB for my 500gb PS4! I’m so happy with this product and glad it was priced within my budget. I’ve been wanting this for a while now. Before I bought this, I had to constantly delete older games from my PS4 to free up memory to be able to download newer games. Most games now in 2020-2021 are over 100gb now! It’s crazy huge and annoying at the same time. So I bought this and have all my games saved to this portable hard drive. First plug in your Hard drive to your PS4, then power on your PS4. Your system will recognize the new hardware and follow instructions on the screen. At first I thought it didn’t work cause it said “not supported, “ but your PS4 will quickly activate it and your good to go. Set it to “save all” To hard drive . Your good! Lots of storage space; useful for regularly backing files from computers and smartphones; useful for transferring files from one computer to another. Excellent price. Purchased in late 2019 and I expect this to last 5 years or more. Pretty blue color.

Very pleased with this purchase. Great price for a 2TB USB 3.0. I teach high school photography and was able to load a full year's worth of student work off our servers onto this drive and take it all home to do remote classroom teaching. Great purchase.
