Sturdy, cheap, PS5 compatible, what more really needs to be said? Needed extra space for PS4 based games on my PS5 and this fit the bill. Can’t install PS5 games to it, due to PS5 restrictions, which I expected. Will add second internal SSD drive when Sony unlocks the second back waiting to be utilized.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He has an XBOX1 and was not able to add a new game due to memory space, This was the perfect alternative to upgrading our system. It's small and hooks up easily and has created an opportunity to load and store more games. Very happy with its cost and usefulness.

The disk was easy to install on my Mac - The time machine found it or vice versa and asked if I wanted to use for backup and installed in seconds. Very small and unobtrusive but have the comfort of knowing the computer is being backed up. Very inexpensive with more than ample space for backups.

It's so small and inexpensive when it's on sale. WD warrants it a few years. And they are reliable. If you want to save backup cloud cost and have lots of data to protect then this is good solution.

The WD My Passport 1TB drive is a compact, reliable, and easy-to-use storage solution. Setup was simple—just plug and play. Transfer speeds are fast with USB 3.0, and the built-in backup software and password protection are great for peace of mind. My only minor issues are the short USB cable and the plastic casing, which feels a bit fragile. Still, for the price and portability, it’s a great external drive for backups and everyday storage. Highly recommended.

This is the third WD-My Passport I've had over the last 10+ years. The others are still working, but I like to replace them periodically, as my primary backup, just in case. They keep working, so I stick with the same brand. I found the WD Backup software to be a little more flexible for setting up than the WD Smartware from my prior drive, but it provides less information during the backup, so am overall less satisfied with the newer software. It did take me three tries to install the WD Backup software. The other utilities that came with the drive installed with no problem.

Love it!!! I have a full 2TB for my 500gb PS4! I’m so happy with this product and glad it was priced within my budget. I’ve been wanting this for a while now. Before I bought this, I had to constantly delete older games from my PS4 to free up memory to be able to download newer games. Most games now in 2020-2021 are over 100gb now! It’s crazy huge and annoying at the same time. So I bought this and have all my games saved to this portable hard drive. First plug in your Hard drive to your PS4, then power on your PS4. Your system will recognize the new hardware and follow instructions on the screen. At first I thought it didn’t work cause it said “not supported, “ but your PS4 will quickly activate it and your good to go. Set it to “save all” To hard drive . Your good! Very pleased with this purchase. Great price for a 2TB USB 3.0. I teach high school photography and was able to load a full year's worth of student work off our servers onto this drive and take it all home to do remote classroom teaching. Great purchase.

Having had another remote back up hard drive that took a dump and decided to die on me; after I drilled a few holes in it to insure it's good and dead, I replaced it with the My Passport 2 TB. I'm hoping I won't fill up the 2 TB in my and my wife's lives.

This external drive is very affordable, offers tons of storage space, and is extremely easy to use. With the USB 3.0 connection, file transfer is very fast. Great purchase, highly recommend.

Purchased to use to expand the Xbox storage. A lot of space for a small device and works great! Kids can add all their games on it and play without having to uninstall and reinstall like before.

This "WD-My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0" is a great external hard drive, very compact and great for transferring large files and freeing up space from you Desk Top or other to an external drive that can be immediately accessed. In my case I transferred large video and scenery files to this device and ultimately freed-up over 22 GB of space on my hard drive. Its a great drive for downloading pictures and videos from your cell phone or computer to this device where you can keep important pics and videos!
