wd makes good backup drives. this is no exception.

I needed a new portable hard drive to backup my computer. I already own other My Passports - those have never failed me and this has not failed me either.

So far so good on this thing, no issues at all. I use it for my Xbox and it’s doing a great job

This is a great hard drive it holds all of my photos and makes traveling with my assets a lot easier! It small and compact so it can go anywhere with you. I highly recommend getting a case for it! Works fine, had to format to Apple. Needed a little formatting.

It's been about a month and working well. Been using it for my xbox and it's not overheating like the old one.

I purchased the WD My Passport 2TB External USB 3.0 Portable Hard drive in my Best Buy store in South Bay Center in Boston. The service was excellent. Good price for a good item.

Great storage, easy use. Would recommend for an external hard drive. Has 2Tb of storage data, only downfall is that it’s hard wired so if have to always keep it plugged in the acesss files

I got this for my brother , for his PS4 & it works fine He hasn’t had problems with it

My Passport supports USB 3.0. To my disappointment, however, it doesn't use a USB-C port, instead opting for an old Micro-USB 3.0 port. This doesn't affect the drive's performance but does means it won't work with computers that only have USB-C, such as the 12-inch Macbook.

Had an old pc that can only boot in safe mode. Was able to transfer all of my documents and pictures to this and transfer to my new drive. Super tiny, and the bright red makes it easy to find.

Just what I needed to expand my PS4 storage. All I had to do was plug it into the PS4, go to settings, set it to external storage (drive was automatically recognized) and now I can download more games/updates again! It's also extremely easy to move large games from internal to this drive. My console is the red Spider-Man version, so it looks great with it, too.

portable and decent capacity (2TB). this one has a spinning disc. Not SSD. I prefer the Solid State but the price is hard to beat on this older style. For me, 2TB in a fully portable device that is powered by the USB cord is as big as I go. I have seen 4TB but that is a lot of juice and momentum for a USB powered drive. These are great but be careful not to knock them around. They can take a bit of jarring, but as soon as you give them one bump too many you will be sad.
