Small. light, and fast. It's in my travel bag now.

First time purchasing an external solid state drive. Was not disappointed. It’s so small and compact compared to a standard hard drive. Much faster download and upload speeds. Works and looks great. Tiny downside is it does get hot after using for awhile, but not a big deal. Got it on sale, definitely worth it.

I have video and photographs stored on these drives, and they are good for standard data as such. I use the Sandisk Extreme Pro's for video capture and editing. But these drives are great for standard storage and backup.

So far so good for the PS5! I have only had this drive for a few days now but it has worked great for additional game storage on my PS5. The transfer speeds are amazing, making it super easy and quick to move games back and forth. I have not tried to run games off of it so I can't speak to that experience fully, but I'll assume it's just fine. The drive does get a bit toasty when moving games to/from. But nothing harmful in my experience and nothing warmer than what a usb drive may get when moving large files around. Overall, I'm really satisfied with this drive for my use case.

Bought this small drive to do file and folder backups for my Lenovo Yoga, which I’ve done successfully multiple times. This is my first 500GB SSD drive from WD, and I’m impressed with its light weight and portability. Approximately four by two inches across and very thin. It comes pre-loaded with WD Discovery and WD Utilities; however, Utilities does not recognize it as a WD drive, while Discovery does. When I called WD Support they advised reinstalling Utilities. I reinstalled several times only to have the same result, “Attach a WD Supported Drive.” This 500GB drive is formatted as a thumb drive (exFAT) while my WD 1TB is formatted NTFS. The USB C data transfer cable can be converted to USB A with supplied adapter.

Worth the buy, so much faster than my normal external hard drive. Also the product is smaller and lighter.

The solid state 3.0 is a must for fast speed and reliability. Way less expensive then purchasing a new laptop with a bigger hard drive

I like the drive. It's fast and it holds a lot of the videos from the drones. the only con is that it gets a little hot if you leave it plugged in a day or two.

This SSD portable external drive is excellent! it is small in size but it has a lot of storage. It is so small it actually fits in the palm of my hand. Very fast speeds to transfer data and it comes with its cable other brands do not. I wish it had a loop for easy carrying but it is fine. I will totally recommend it! It was at a really good price during DEal of the Day.

The latest updates on the nVidia Shield have made USB sticks incompatible, but speedy SSD drives such as this Western Digital work great. I have ample space to store video files (Torrents) and music and the speed to enjoy all without a hiccup. The drive is extremely small and not noticeable in entertainment rack. Highly recommended.

Bought this solid state drive on sale from Best Buy. This was a replacement for an older Western Digital external drive that stopped working. This drive is so light and small. The size amazed me when it came. The drive is very easy to carry and use in any environment. Highly recommend it for the price, size, and ease of use.

Use as a clone to my laptop and already came in handy when I had to have my laptop serviced I was able to use it to boot up from another computer. Fast and light and quiet. Hope it's reliable. Moght buy another to have redundant clones
