I bought this hard drive for extra storage on my Mac. I love how simple it was to set up and I don't have to worry about backups, it does it for me! The affordable price made it even more of a plus for me. It's compact design makes it easy to tote around... Just all the round a great product!

Plug in and use on an iMac. Automatic backups are done without interfering with current projects. Really appreciate the speed and capacity. My former backup hard drive worked every day for about 5 years. Hope this does even better, and it should with its solid-state design.

The drive is easy to set up and stores 1TB. Have it in my computer most of the time to store bigger files. Keeps my computer running quickly.

This is the 4th WD external drive I have purchased and I am never disappointed. I have one for my PC, one for my Mac, and two more for relatives and I have never had any issues at all. They are extremely light and portable and they just work.

My old back up drive died, and the trainer at the Apple store suggested I get a 1 TB drive, and that going to Best Buy might be less expensive than buying one at Apple. He was right, and as far as I can tell, this one will suit my needs!

This is the perfect hardrive. Perfect size and I can take it along with my mac book wherever I go and whenever I need it. Very satisfied with the quality.

I needed another back-up hard drive and decided to go with this one. It plugs into a usb port and takes up very little space. When my other back up hard drive fills up, I will order this product again.

I switched from PC to Mac and this made it seamless, I keep all my old files on my external drive and then I am free to use my laptop without all my old files taking up valuable space on a 256GB SSD.

I haven't used mine but my husband loves his. We didn't require much from it but to store simple stuff such as pictures and a few videos and that's it. No complaints his far. Simple and does the job!

Was able to backup my entire iMac to this external hard drive before I sold it so I could upgrade. Very user friendly, Easy to install and couldn't ask for a simpler application. Highly recommend!

I was a little concerned on the ease of install and use. Both went well and I was able to put all my pics and videos on this hard drive without to much trouble. That's great for me because I have bought other brands and lost some hair by falling for the so called "simple to use" hype. I will be buying larger storage capacity models as I need them. Oh yeah, pretty inexpensive when you compare to other brands with the same bells and whistles.
