I barely remembered this. I was in HS when it happened. I'm so glad they made a movie to honor this school and the people.

Great movie with a lot of ups and downs. A must see.

I am in love with this movie. Compelling/sad story.

Movie depicts an actual tragedy and how those affected coped with the consequences. It deals with the guilt of the survivors and the challenge of those who followed to rebuild a literally destroyed football team. With little to no support, the replacement coach worked to convince the school of the importance of carrying on the tradition,

I got this for my mom since she likes to watch movies that are based on true events. They took the time to make a great movie and to cover what many different people were doing and what they were going through. I didn't even realize 2 hours had gone by I was completely into the movie. I don't want to say to much to spoil anything but it was at a great price also.

There's something so special about college football, especially when teams have a story that inspires others. We Are Marshall is one of the greats. It tells the story of a football team that rises from the ashes—literally, and it will leave you remembering that on any given day, an underdog can rise up and be something magical.

I think that "We Are Marshall" was one of the greatest and inspiring films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that "We Are Marshall" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

New Blurry DVD works well and is quite satisfactory. Getting the DVD player and TV to communicate took a bit of trial an error as I did not see those details in the instructions plus the new DVD players uses Mac type icons instead of words, like play, movie, etc which slowed things down a bit.

This is a movie about a town, a school and a team. The story told in We are Marshall is a powerful and emotional one. It is moving and the story keeps you wanting more and more. It does not disappoint.

McConaughey does an amazing job in his role as the new coach for Marshall. It was a gut wrenching film about a town that lost so much and chose to fight through that pain in order to grow stronger through that pain.

I grew up in Huntington and lived next door to Red Dawson,the surviving coach. Although filled with poetic license it still is a terrific movie. I watch it a couple of times a year to keep Marshall and the players in my thoughts.

This story starts out as a complete tragedy, but it is a story of love, respect, teamwork and rising from the ashes stronger then before. This film has a beautiful spirit and finally true triumph.

If you are into based on true story movies or sport movies in general this one is for you. Matthew McConaughey is solid and does a great job in the role he was cast.

Watch this with your kids in sports. This is the kind of movie that teaches principles and problem solving especially, dealing with loss and impossible odds.

This is a true story and I can remember when it happened. It is the first time a college had to rebuild a football team from scratch. A must see for any college football fan.

LOVE this movie! My husband loves it too....because it's about football! it's a great movie, but a tear-jerker.
