It boosts signal for calling, not speed for me.
In addition, it does not really cover a 5000 sq ft house. I understand that this number is probably for the most ideal lab environment, but it does not even help with half of the claimed area.
I can only give it three stars for good quality item, good idea, and strong boost for calling (only) in its ~2400 sq ft covered area.

The weBoost - Home MultiRoom Cell Phone Signal Booster provides very good signal boost. Before the booster we only had 1 bar maybe 2 bars of signal. With the weBoost - Home MultiRoom Cell Phone Signal Booster we now have 3-4 bars of signal when near the booster. It will not provide 3-4 bars throughout our 2,000 square foot house. This is noted on the box. With 1-2 bars signal without the booster the maximum coverage area is 1,000 square foot. Overall I am pleased with the weBoost - Home MultiRoom Cell Phone Signal Booster and would purchase again.

We had an earlier model, but since getting iPhone 12 Pro the signal was lacking. Now with the new WeBoost we receive 4bars 5G even here in Rural Parker County. Streaming is a breeze now. Great Priduct!!!

My service went from zero to one bar, to 1 -2 bars. Not great, but better. As everyone said, it doesn't come with a mounting pole or a bracket that swivels, so my antenna is mounted to the side of my house, near the roofline, shooting 90 degrees out. I am in the City of Denver & there are towers in all directions. But, there are 2 two-story homes on either side of my small home. I called customer service to see if there is anything else I should do.

Very good product. The only thing that keeps that fifth star from popping is the price and items that are thrown in the package without much thought to practical application. Don't put coaxial Cable in the box, which doesn't match the dimensions of the coverage area of the installation. It's a waste of money. Just put not included and lower the price. If you insist on doing that, put dual end male adapters for each cable end, so they can be attached to each other. Also, if you insist on doing that, add something to waterproof the connections. Also, If the outside antenna is attached to something other than a pipe, make the bracket hinged so the angle can be adjusted for better aiming. Mine is close to on-target but cannot be fine-tuned because the half-bracket is at a fixed angle. Other than that, the product works as directed. I had to spend an additional $70 dollars on additional cables, connectors, and sealant for the connectors.

This thing works. Was fairly easy to install. Just pointed the antenna in the direction of our cell tower and my bars went from 1 to 4. We always had issues with dropping calls and slow data. But now with 4 bars of signal everything works great. My only complaint is the inside antenna does not cover my entire house like I thought it would. If I'm in the same room as the antenna, then it works as it should. But walking into other rooms the signal goes down quick.

Alright so I moved to 40 acres of heavy forestry with the nearest cell tower for Verizon about two miles away and with some hills in between us. (Graham, WA). Nearest 5G tower is ridiculously far away. Connected wirelessly this to the 5G orbic from Verizon, climbed 50 fit up a tree with 2” X 10’ PVC with the antenna clamped on the end, after that I ratchet strapped the pvc up to the 50ft part I could stand on lifted the pvc up ten fit on tree then had someone reboot the system and I instantly got 5G 4 bars in an area I was getting no service to one bar and 4g. The App I used was called find tower, it’s a little glitchy of an app but it did find me the nearest cell towers. I have lived in areas like this my entire life and this completely blew me away. I can load anything faster than I ever could in Seattle/Tacoma. My only problem was the inside antenna doesn’t give too much range, which is alright because I have the orbic from Verizon and that gives me at least 1500sq ft of coverage. I’m boon docking and I have yet to see a trailer that is that large. Anyways I thought I give a review because when I was looking through here didn’t seem like too many helpful ones out there. This thing works insanely well and if yours doesn’t it’s broke return and try again.

Overall it works well. It gave me enough boost to get an improved signal in the house. The install instruction is solid, and the installation was easy. I had problems losing the signal and got a rapid response from customer support.

Would love a little more options for tuning or leveling certain bands, but at this price point, it’s hard to complain. As for effectiveness, just plugging it in and holding the outdoor antenna in my hand relayed enough signal for basic service inside a completely dead to all carriers home. Once it was better optimized, it still didn’t blanket the house, but it made a bubble of usable service that can be used if the internet/WiFi goes out. To explain my comment about tuning - I could consistently test good signals from 2 different bands, one that achieved a factor of 10 better data speeds for the brief moment a device locked into it, but the device would quickly decide to lock into the slower one. This may have been a decision made by the carrier for load balancing, but still quite annoying. Attempts to use a directional antenna and attenuate the slower band worked according to signal meter but failed at the device. They’d choose the slower one anyway and perform even worse. I eventually gave up chasing the LTE dragon and am just content that it works at all.

Easy setup. weBoost cell tower locator worked better for than open signal app. Tried multiple locations for antenna but 3 bars was the best I could get. Tried attic location, not good. Tried thru an upstairs window which was as good as outside the window. But still only 3 bars. Reception was okay for 3 rooms not so much for other rooms. My space was 2300 square feet. I worked with the system for over a week. Probably would have been fine using a tall mast outside, but not allowed by neighborhood restrictions. Sadly I returned product to the Best Buy where I purchased it. The staff there were cordial and helpful. I really like their TOTAL TECH Program.

We had poor reception for our AT&T 4g hotspot in the house. With the weBoost installed, once we had the antenna pointed correctly at a nearby tower, all our slow and interrupted internet issues went away. Now it BC acts like true high-speed internet. Also, she has verizon, I have AT&T and both our phones now work reliably with solid connections. Our house lies in a shallow valley and has high quality insulation, and both these issues were fixed by this device. We ended up hiring a professional antenna installer for $225 to put it in and that was worth every penny due to how much work it ended up being.

I have a 1500sq ft metal building with metal interior walls/ceiling. It is located in the country with okay service as it is, without being in the building. Had 1 bar out of 4 for signal, if I was lucky inside. Now I have 3-4 depending on my location in the building and I haven’t even messed with tuning it. Was a bit pricey, but it’s a one time purchase with no monthly payment. I have seen some online that require a monthly subscription. So I would definitely recommend this item if you need a stronger signal in your house or shop.

Easily installed. A bit hard to determine benefit from increase in bars but fewer dropped calls and better data rate noted within 40 feet of antenna. Likely best for only 2-3 rooms, not a small house.

I can make phone calls now all the time whereas i could not quite often, before installing. Internet is hit and miss, but again, that was dead before. I may try to get a small tower set up, to get the antenna higher. I don't know what the sq. ft. coverage would be with a good signal, but mine doesn't even reach over half my home (home is 2164 sq. ft.). Maybe that'll change with a tower.

Northern MN, we're about 8 miles through the woods to the cell tower we need. Pointed it in the right direction, guided the co-ax cable down to a place in our basement, and then ran co-ax to from the box to the sending unit. All of a sudden, we went from no internet in the basement to 5G. So, it's worth it for us so far - it's been about 2 weeks - so far, no problems other than I wish they would have given 100 ft total of cable instead of 60 feet.
Also, the weboost unit seems a bit warm. i wonder if that will shorten it's life span...

I had purchased something like this years a go and it did not work. I wanted to purchase one from Best Buy because I know if it did not work I could take it back. I live way out in the country borderline between Towers , in my house I get zero to 1 bar. Which is very difficult to communicate. so I follow the instructions and watch the video, and very carefully installed the product. And now I have 2 to 4 bars at all time. It was a little pricey but it's going to be well worth it.

We went from not being able to load a simple web page, to being able to stream video on cellular data and I haven’t even fine tuned the aiming! The install is easy as long as you are a little handy, if you are looking for a professionally installed look but aren’t used to home maintenance you may consider hiring someone to install. I insisted on running the wires through the attic and walls but could have ran externally just as easily. It comes with a short piece of coax that is flat and will allow you to run the cable through a window.

We live in a remote area in Indiana where cell service is sketchy at best. We have to walk around the house or sometimes have to go outside to answer calls. We also use Hughes net satellite for internet which was not very good either. I installed the Weboost and now have 3-4 bars of 4g. If I turn on my cell phone as a hotspot it is faster than the Hughes net. I got rid of Hughes net and got a broadband card from Verizon and now have great internet. Enough that I can even stream movies if I wanted to.
