After ditching my Microsoft Windows machine finally for an iMac and an iPad Pro, I wasn’t sure what kind of anti-virus software I should get. The Best Buy folks recommended this product (good for 3 devices), and some of the official reviews for it are quite good (PCMag, etc). It has a small footprint and does not slow the machine down. I like that it is totally configurable, since I don’t want some of the features (like parental controls, saving of logins and passwords, or in-your-face extra clicks and steps). I’m still learning about it, and may also install other free spyware/malware protection programs, maybe even ant-virus, even though this product does protect against all those, since apparently the reviewers have a hard time comparing due to the unique mechanisms Webroot uses.

Webroot came with my iPad, and I'm glad it did because I was able to extend the subscription of my old Webroot account. I'm pleased with the security that it offers, and I like that I can store retrievable passwords.

Having any security software for a Mac may not be necessary, but has it's benefits. Scammers are very tech savvy and are getting more clever on how to attack you every day. I consider myself tech savvy and I get scammers contacting me via emails, phone calls or DMs all the time. And alot of their materials look very legitimate. It's hard to tell sometimes whats real wand whats a scam. So having any protection on top of good common sense is very important to me. Other reviewers on this software say that the benefit of this software compared to others like Kapersky or Norton, is that it does not use as many resources on your processor--it doesnt bogg down your system as much as the other softwares, but you have to always keep it up to date.

Although I have a MacBook they may not be invincible to viruses. It is nice to have added security.

I have used Webroot for 10 years and would not trust any other security product for my systems!

Pretty easy to install. Seems to work fine. My 80 year old dad did it.

I just got it but not sure if I need it on my iPad and iPod .

I can't say it doesn’t do the job, but the support is not great. Charging $200 dollars for the program to help set it up and offer support for it is inconsiderate. It is great if you need protection and understand the product. Other than that it is kind of difficult to understand.

It was easy to install and gives me confidence to surf the web. Make sure you install the chrome plugin so it will give you green checks on sites before you click in.

Webroot is a great product for protection against viruses. It is always on call and scanning your computer to make sure it is safe and out of harms way.

Purchased because I noticed a slowdown in speeds on my computer. Installed software and performed scan was able to fix problems.

Webroot Internet Security & Antivirus works well. We have not had any viruses so the product does what it is supposed to do.
