||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It seemed to be fine but then I got to thinking that anytime there is a problem, the Geek Squad has to be used, then the MAC I bought it for had nothing show up after a scan I took the Mac to Apple & they removed the virus protection & said they had one which I could "call up" whenever necessary which used no ongoing resources & it also found nothing but was FREE, I used this AV on a home desktop where it has done some good or otherwise the Best Buy nearby would have seen me!

The only problem is that the product code is covered on the back of the product, so when you go to remove it your product code can become distorted. If that happens, you can return to BestBuy.

Before I had the Mac and was using a PC, it prevented me from getting hacked. Since what I use a computer for is pretty low tech, it does the job just fine.
