I bought a cheap smart plug a few years ago. Would not connect to our WiFi. I used it to control our patio lights--and had to climb on a chair and stretch to push the on button (and then again to turn off). Saw this on the deal of the day and gave it a try. WOW! Phone app installed smoothly and now I just use my phone to turn the lights off and on. We enjoy our patio lights more often. I put the app on my wife's phone as well. Discovered recently it is connected to Google Home as well! I saw this as a stand-alone device and now realize it can be part of home automation. Plug is very durable and I like that the socket covers are separate since I just needed 1 plug.

This thing is awesome! Use it for xmas lights and syncs with all my smarthome stuff flawlessly! Just beware the new stuff seems to be apple homekit only.

I used with WeMo to operate my outdoor holiday lights, particularly since I was out of town a good bit during the season. It was easy to set up, and it worked immediately. It was nice to also check my phone to see if the lights were on, and turn them on and off manually by phone. It was outside the whole season without issues, though I am in a warmer climate. Probably not the cheapest device you could find to do this, but it was worth the extra $$ to me. I would buy again.

I set them up with my Christmas lights decorarion out on the front of my yard and with thr app I was able to program it to turn ion and off daily.

This immediately populated itself in homekit and didn’t require another app to control. Operation was simple and well done

Great way to control outside devices with phone. Great for holiday lights

This thing is a great accessory to add to your exterior lighting such as Christmas lights. We had this out front for Christmas and man, did it make lighting things so much easier. It's very rugged and well built. We would use our Google Home (which paired easily) to set timers. No more walking outside to plug them directly. Love this. It was honestly a cinch to set up but I am used to wemo products.

Just like any other wemo product, it doesn't really play well with multiple players (especially siri and alexa). Most of the times I needed to re-enable the skill to be able to get the status updates on this device. However, once the device is programed in wemo app; I did not have to touch it for almost a year or so. it works like it is intended.

AmaZing plug for my Christmas lights this past season! Highly weather proof, increases one outside to two, and is an easy set up with my Apple HomeKit! Not one single problem and it’s been almost two months into owning it. I highly recommend! Not to mention, it’s the classiest looking outdoor smart plug on the market right now, and the enclosed screw placed it securely on my brick home.

Easy to setup through the Wemo app and is compatible with Smart Assistants (ie. Google, Alexa). I purchased this for my outdoor Xmas lights and it worked out perfectly. I was able to control all my Xmas lights with my voice. By using the Google Home app or Wemo app, I was able to turn my lights on or off even if I was away from home. Great value and very convenient.

Synced up with the app perfectly. Worked well outside in the winter for Christmas Lights.

Worked as expected. Set timer thru app. Only negative I can think about is the plugs are both on/off at the same time. I would love to have the option to have single one programmed. Much easier to program thru an app than the old circle twist ones. Worked with google home as well so that is a bonus. Make sure you have wifi outside if you want to use it.

Nice device with good quality. Nice waterproof covers for outlets and setup in Apple HomeKit and WiFi was really easy. Only thing I didn’t like was the price. A bit in the expensive side

Wemo plugs are part big part of our smart home system. This is another complimentary item. Simple setup, simple to attach to my home network and simple to schedule. Very reliable.

I use another brand of smart plugs indoors and was a bit skeptical to add another brand, but I’m very glad I tried it! The WeMo plug is very attractive and fits fight in outdoors. It has a nice spot to screw it down for better security and the HomeKit set up was seamless.

I bought this outdoor smart plug to work with my other WeMo devices, and setting it up was much easier than some older plugs. It feels solid and durable for outdoor use, and really comes in handy for managing lights or equipment like holiday decorations. My only problem with it so far is the reliability of the WeMo service, which has had some bugs and downtime lately. It can be spotty and lead to not having any control of any WeMo devices, although rules and schedule still seems to work if you've already set it up.

Works as expected. We use it as part of the Apple Home app. It's definitely weatherproof and hasn't failed or disconnected from the various spectrum outages we have in our area.
