The outdoor wemo smart plug is a great addition to your deck or patio, especially now that it has apple HomeKit compatibility. Great for outdoor Christmas decor too!

Bought this for christmas lights and have to say it's exactly what I needed. Can set up a schedule but also turn them on/off using Google home/Alexa whenever I want.

Got this outdoor smart plug on sale and just in time for the holidays. Worked like a charm scheduling a timer for outdoor icicle lights. The app is easy to use, convenient and reliable (so far).

Very simple to setup and control, especially if you already have other Wemo products. Working well controlling outdoor Christmas lights for over a month now.

Finally they’ve made an outdoor plug! It’s too bad that each outlet cannot be controlled separately but it sets up easily and is handy for outdoor patios and Christmas lights.

I bought this to replace a timer switch for outside Christmas decorations. I like that I can control it by the app on my phone

Simple setup, works as advertised and expected. Only reasons it didn't earn a five-star rating for me were 1) it would be nice to be able to control each receptacle independently, and 2) I would rather have the included option to use heavy duty adhesive strips to attach the device to a stable surface than to drill holes in the exterior of my house. Yes, this would likely increase the cost of the product, but I'd be willing to pay for these improvements.

Minor hiccup during setup, I was able to contact Wemo customer support (on a weekend) and they were able to talk me through the process. We got it working doing exactly what they told me on the phone. I wish the instructions included this troubleshoot procedure, and that’s why I took off one star. Otherwise this product is working as intended, running my Christmas lights outside with full HomeKit integration. Responds to Siri commands and automation rules. Despite the minor setup issue I still recommend this product.

This works with HomeKit perfectly. Only negative is the way the plug is shaped takes up both my plugs. I use this to turn on my back door lights. So now when I grill I have to unplug it or grill with lights on. I mean grilling at night will be awesome. I and just going to buy a little plug or extension cord which is fine. Apple does a pretty good job finding companies that give a crap and are not all about ROI. In conclusion great product and best one I have found for apple HomeKit. Good price even.

The Wemo Wi-Fi Smart Outdoor Plug was a great purchase. I purchased the Wemo plug to schedule the turning on & off of my Christmas outside lights. Since I already have the Wemo dimmers, setting it up was straightforward and easy. I scheduled my Christmas lights to turn on at sunset and turn off at sunrise...it worked flawlessly. I also like how the Wemo plug have the rubber attached protector to plug into the outlet sockets when not in use. Overall, it is a great product that I highly recommend to anyone looking ways to control their outside items.

Work as advertised. Love that we can turn it on from the APP. As easy to setup as other Wemo plugs and switches we have installed around the house.

These are good when they work. Just wish they would work on 5GHz wireless, not just 2.4GHz.

I bought a myTouchSmart to control outdoor Christmas lights. It turned lights on but failed to turn them offon schedule. The WeMo was less expensive, mechanically superior, simple to setup, and it iworked the first time. I took the next step and connected it to Apple's HomeKit. Unfortunately it failed to remain connected although the wifi signal strength was strong at the installation site. But I am thrilled with what it does do!

Very pleased with the outdoor smart plug. I have trees with lights plugged into it and have them on a schedule to turn on/off.

I found this easy and quick to use. We used this outdoor in a MN Winter to control our Christmas lights. This is so much more consistent than the old mechanical timers. We told the app our zip code and selected to have the lights come on at sunset and off at sunrise. We've had it going for a month and haven't had any connection issues. We plan to use this inside when we're done. Although not needed, we did put a ziplock around it to protect it from the elements.

WeMo is a tried and true smart home product provider. We have and recommend several WeMo smart dimmers and Wi-Fi smart plugs and now, this Wi-Fi smart outdoor plug. We are using it for our outdoor holiday lights. Programmed to switch on at dusk and off at dawn, it is working perfectly. It works with Android as well as iOS. I would not hesitate to buy another.

These worked awesome this year for Christmas Lights! We plugged them in and set them up to come on and go off at specific times, but it was also great to be able to turn them on and off with our voice and Google Home/Alexa. Great product. Had been waiting on this a LONG time. I would definitely recommend if you use WEMO. I do know there is another manufacturer who has a product similar that also has a daylight sensor (may be Wayze) that may be better if you aren't in the WEMO ecosystem.

Please with this purchase. Easy to set up using the WEMO app, although using the app to set up rules was a bit frustrating, but as far as the plug is concerned, it works wells, easy to install, is durable in snowy or wet conditions. We are currently using this for our Christmas lights, making it easy and convent. However, we plan to automate our Christmas lights further and use them year-round with additional outdoor lighting on our patio and garden. I would recommend this product.
