Great way to add remote control option to exterior devices. Use this in the summer for a fan and external lights. In the winter it turns into the control point for holiday lights and blowups. Simple and right angle plug makes it mountable away from water as well as a tidy installation.

Love all our wemo products. Christmas has new meaning when everything can be turned on so easily and schedules added. I like that Wemo added the 15/30 minute option before and after sunrise and sunset, versus just a time option. I would have liked this plug to be a normal plug versus flat, as they make only one plug in our outdoor electric box able to be used at one time as it is rather rigid and durable.

Nice plug with HomeKit integration. The app itself says if you use schedules in HomeKit you shouldn't use them in the app. But I'm just using it in the app. Right now I'm just using it to replace a timer plug and when I bought it on-sale it was about the same price as a timer plug with the advantage of allowing me to turn it on remotely when I want.

You must download the wemo app to activate within its spp or link to Alexa Alexa wont recognize the device until this is done. tou can turn on and off manually as well with the one push switch on the device. i bought two and love them both. i used one for my outdoor christmas lights set up in Alexa .... i love them. quality is good.

I have the app with light switches and different plugs around the house, and it appears to work pretty good. If you have a VPN, the light switches may be tricky to install, but CS is pretty helpful. This plug work great as I use it for the timer, so that it turns on the party lights out back on and off at certain times automatically.

I have several wi-fi plugs, and this one is average at best. What I don't like is that when it's on a timer, I still have to turn on whatever is hooked up to it manually because it resets the equipment completely. This is the ONLY plug that does this out of the roughly 40 that I own.

Misleading product description. It states two outlets that you can control; however, you only get one button for both outlets. Want to run lights and an inflatable for the holidays, they are both on and off together. It would be far more useful at this high price point for individual control which is what I thought it would do. Very disappointed I waited two weeks for this useless item. I was expecting great things from Wemo when I purchased this on sale for the same price as the off brand Meross, which has this feature and costs $10 less not on sale. That unit has been working fantastic.

purchased to control holiday lights - conventional 'timer' and dark activated plugs have been fickle and fragile. One holiday season done and I was very pleased - in fact, I think I will use inside as well (ie such as to light inside house as security in evenings if not at home). Easy to set up.

I initially purchased 2 of these to control out outdoor Christmas lights. This was so easy to use that I immediately wanted to purchase 2 more. Between COVID and the holidays this item was on back order so we eagerly awaited for them to return in stock. I love that this works with Apple HomeKit so we’re able to add these to automations.

I purchased this smart plug to automate outdoor lights with HomeKit. I setup an automation to turn the lights on at sunset and off at sunrise. It worked without issue for a month. It's in storage until next November, but I'll be happy to get it back out. Simple and effective.

Was looking for a HomeKit enabled outdoor plug for a long time, had one that works with Siri shortcut but doesn't do the job. Ordered this right way when they went available in BestBuy, and it works great. I test all the functions with it in HomeKit and it does the job. So now I don't have to switch to other app to operate my patio lights.

Works great in my rainy winter months, seems to be very water resistant. Hooked up easily with my wifi and easily added it to my Alexa, just tell Alexa to turn on Christmas lights and its done, worked perfect every day, no connection issues. Can also be controlled with the Wemo app.

Bought 3 of these and really wished they worked better. My first issue is that they only work on 2.4 ghz because I have a Google mesh system that does both but wont stay on 2.4 to connect but that’s a limitation of the mesh router. I did buy a nice 2.4 ghz only router specifically for these and here is the real issue. The lose wifi connection and require master reset and repairing constantly. I have them in places outside that are hard to reach (up in patio cover for smart bulbs) which makes resetting a pain. I swapped one out thinking it was that one but it’s not. Great idea but all around I would not recommend unless you don’t mind repairing when Wi-Fi gets knocked out.

I have a number of Wemo devices that I have self installed with little to no issue however this device has a few bugs in it that need to be fixed before I would give it a higher rating. Initially I could not get the application to recognize the device. Finally I found the device broadcasting its own SSID and connected to my iPad manually. Then I tried to setup schedules in the wemo app with no response to the set times. I tried in different apps individually including Apple Home and Google Home with no luck. I finally called Belkin and they admitted that there are some SW bugs in this unit. Had to go through another manual setup with specific app switch settings to get it to work. It now responds to schedule commands. Lastly I thought you could control the outlets separately but that is not possible.

Great device. Got to integrate with Home Kit and it did not disappoint. Easy to use and set up. Bought two. One for the deck, where we have lights all the time. And the other for the front to let me plug seasonal lights.
