Had to return 2 of them......

The associate at Best Buy did tell me these are known for poor sound quality and recommended I upgrade to another tv for $20 more....I should have listened. I had to return the first tv the next day due to one of the speakers "crackling". The next, I returned after a week due to a malfunctioning remote sensor on the tv, not the remote (the speakers on this set were fine, so sound is good when it works). The remote wouldn't work from an angle and, when it would work, the chanel would change along with the volume. This same thing would happen with our universal remote. I researched this tv before purchasing, but thought I'd take a chance since I'm not a stickler for "amazing sound" or "incredible picture quality"....we just wanted a new tv for our spare room. Needless to say, I purchased a different brand after returning the last Westinghouse. We went with the Insignia brand, and so far, we are very pleased.

Terrible Sound
