Looks really nice (Modern) and I love the way it opens. I was worried that it would be too small but I haven't had any problems using it. I also love the tone when the food its ready.

I needed a small space microwave .It fit perfect. It looks great and does a great job.

Working great so far. Looks great and love that it freed up some counter space. Nice that they have some quick cook settings on inside of door for reheating items (dinner plate, beverage, etc). Takes the guessing out. Fit right into the space where my vent hood was previously installed. Find the guy on youtube with a video installing this unit. Very helpful and makes install super easy. You need 2 people when it’s time to lift into place for final mounting.

Microwave and installation were "A+++++" The chrome matches our other appliances which looks perfect!

This microwave is beautiful! I love the auto open door feature, the chimes, and it’s neat how the numbers are inside. It heats awesome! And it’s pretty nice we can turn off the turntable for bigger dishes. Even though it’s short everything I’ve put in it has fit so far. The only thing I’ds that since it was replacing a larger microwave my backsplash didn’t come up to the bottom. There was a gap of ugly wall between the bottom of the microwave and top of my backsplash. We just ended up buying and hanging a stainless steel backsplash and it looks great! Like it was supposed to be there.

Awesome microwave, plenty of room for all your cooking needs. I can finally use my tall pots and be able to see what I’m doing. Lightning is great.

I have a small kitchen thought it was impossible to hang a microwave over the stove. This is a perfact fit and high end and sleek. I love it!

Just had to have one the first time I saw it. Had to get the 5 series because the 7 did not come in plain Stainless Steel. Would have preferred the 7 series because of the LED lighting and advanced functions. But the 5 performs perfectly as a microwave and range hood. The fragile comment is because it took 4 microwaves before we got one that was not damaged in shipping. It only takes one drop to distort the case. Even the one shipped UPS was in great packaging and no oblivious damage only to open it up to find the right side dented. Another one snapped off the installation nut inside the top of the unit. Yep... #4 from the distribution center was fine! Best Buy was awesome!!! They never batted an eye when I returned unit after unit after unit! The did their best to make me happy with a undamaged unit.

I love the height of this microwave; I don't care for the fingerprints on it constantly but that's because of the people I live with. It's plenty big enough for anything I used in my regular size microwave. Looks good and a good amount of space between it and stove which I needed. Might be a problem for a shorter person installed under a cabinet over a stove.

Extremely easy to install, make sure you check studs before buying. We got this to replace a large bulky microwave hood and have plenty of room to see the stove now. May be a bit cumbersome if you mind the old holes in your backsplash or if you have something difficult to replace like tile. Edgewise, prepare yourself and measure twice. Very easy to install.

Love this microwave. Very high tech and super sleek. The open button is freaking awesome! Buttons are a little smaller and on the inside so gotta get use to that setup. Leaves plenty of space over stove.

So far it’s been great. Easy to install with basic instructions and template for mounting and locating holes for power. Long door takes a bit to get used to but other than that it’s great

It works good. The thing is you have to have the door open to access the key pad. The fan, light, start, stop and add 30 seconds on the door. Everything else you have to have the door open to use. It makes for a very clean look but, kind of a pain in the “you know what” to use.

The Low-Profile Over-the-Range Microwave (Whirlpool) is our 2nd generation microwave. It's features are consistent with what we expected. Performance is great. It goes along exceptionally well with the Whirlpool fridge and the Whirlpool electric range that we bought. All make the kitchen look very modern!

I like how this gives me more wall space. The design is sleek, even the inside with a stainless steel color and a fun Diamond texture on the back wall. I like that you don’t have to yank on a handle to open this, you just push a touch button and the door opens. The only thing I don’t like is that the vent fan is really noisy. It was also difficult to install as the holes on the top of the microwave did not line up with the holes in the top cabinet from our previous whirlpool microwave. It does stick out further than our last microwave, but isn’t an issue so far

I wanted to replace my old standard size Over-the-range microwave with a low profile to make extra room between the stove and microwave. This is a perfect fit and looks great. It is a couple of inches deeper than my old microwave but it works. The controls are hidden but easy to use. It works great to heat up the food. It does show fingerprints (kids) since there is no handle to grab and open/close. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. I would recommend this microwave who is looking to save some space.

I ordered this microwave online. It picked it up at the Knoxville, TN store (60 miles away). When I unpacked the microwave, I noticed that it was not in a Whirlpool box, so it had obviously been returned by someone before I purchased it. After opening the generic box, I could see why. The right, back corner of the microwave was seriously dented. The whole top and back was warped because of it. It looked like something extremely heavy had been dropped on it. There is no possible way that someone re-boxed this thing without noticing this level of damage, yet it was sold to me as if it were brand new and undamaged. Best Buy customer service is horrible! I called the number given online for the Knoxville store. I spent quite a bit of time and multiple calls trying to convince artificial intelligence to let me speak to a human. When I finally got to speak to a human, I had to explain my situation to 3 different people and spend a multitude of time on hold. None of these individuals had any connection to the Knoxville location at all. I waited all this time only to be told that I could take it back to the Knoxville store, but my time was running out to do so. I continued to explain that I live 60 miles away, and that I am very busy. I also explained that after checking the website, it looks like it would take 2 months for me to get a replacement. The best they could do was to finally offer me a $50 gift card. Now I am stuck with a microwave that works, but the vibrations created by the dents causes it to sound like it to sound like a chainsaw. I feel that I have been taken advantage of. It would be great if someone that is actually from Best Buy would respond to this post, or someone from Whirlpool. Who knows? The microwave may have come from the manufacturer this way and was passed off on me. I'm sure this model of microwave is probably a good one. But quality is ruined when you have unprofessional, uncaring service. If you purchase anything from Best Buy, do yourself a favor...open it and inspect it before you leave the store.

Sleek & slim, does everything my big Kenmore did & just as well. I like that the start button defaults to 30 second increments or, alternatively, you can punch in the actual time needed on the panel inside the door. Also like that the door opens with the touch of a button, no yanking required. My only complaint is that the unit sticks out pretty far over the stove below; ladeling soup out of a tall stock pot gets tight, though still doable.

The stove delivery guy suggested this microwave for us, we switched our order to select this one and we love it. I thought the fact that it sticks out more would bother me but it really doesn't. We are very pleased. So far though, I don't see a pause button, but I've yet to go through all the instructions to see. A pause button would be nice but isn't a deal breaker for me. Nice unit. Excellent space saver!

Was a little worried on size and look but boy do I love my microwave. Everything fits. It’s the perfect size and so far fits and look amazing. Works great.
