The door is attached from the bottom and the when you use the handle to close it, you can easily feel and see the door bend. It does not feel as though it will last.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This unit has a foot pedal to turn on vs. the front controls. This makes the front of the unit very tall. The only problem with that is that it also makes it a but unsteady and shaky. I'd recommend a unit with a front control vs. the handle. The handle looks OK but it takes away from the functionality of the unit.

When I have wrote, e-mailed and talked to the Kitchen Aid customer service it never ended well. They want me to have a service person fix it and then send them the bill for dispute. Might as well take them to small claims court. Junk product and junk warrantee.
