It fit in the original cabinet slot perfectly and was very easy to install it myself. I like it very much.! I ordered it @ Bestbuy online and pickup at store without any problem.

Fit perfectly to replace old built in microwave , that I was able to use the old stainless steel frame. Has all the features I regularly use including sensor cooking feature. And best of all the price was right

I bought this to replace an older model. I was able to use my old trim kit even though this model didn’t fit perfectly. In just one month, the touchpad is damaged from using my fingernail on the panel.

I know what your thinking, “what in the world has caused this woman to break 2 microwaves in 3 years?” or better yet “if it’s a manufacturer issue why would she KEEP buying the same one?!” So allow me to explain. The first broken microwave was not on Whirlpool, it was entirely on us. My then 4 year old woke up at the crack of dawn one morning and decided she felt big enough to use the microwave (downside of a in-island microwave), and she ended up accidently typing in “13.00” instead of “1.30”. Classic mistake. I don’t except a microwave to withstand 13 minutes of heating a mac & cheese cup. We look the L. My child should’ve known better or the microwave should’ve been locked. So we immediately purchase a new one of the exact same kind, since it is already fitted for this size with the existing trim kit & space in the island, PLUS I do prefer all my appliances to match, finish & brand. Well, here’s our current situation now after having this most recent one for barely 2 years. Rust. And its only getting worse. Is this the life span of microwaves and I’m just uninformed? I’m sure there’s a way to sand & repaint with a microwave safe paint, however it’s not something I’ve ever done before and I’d prefer not to DIY this and screw it up by creating a fire hazard or cause any toxicity. So, here I am again, forced to decide whether we should take the easy route & purchase the same one again, or dive deep into research and invest in another that will probably cause my appliances to not match brands.

I was unhappy with the small dent in the front. It wasn't discovered until we had already installed it.

Works great and heats up fast, quite. Bought this coz the builder has not provided one, awesome look and good buy.

My builder installed Whirlpool broke and this is the nest alternative which fits into the housing cabinet. Easy to remove the old one and install this. DIY - about 30mts.

The microwave buttons are cheaply made and the options for cooking are not normal. There is no button that says start or clear. If you take out food early then later go to Cook something there’s no button to clear it so you can put new time. Very frustrating! It is a lot less noisy as my last microwave so that’s great. Looks good, but wouldn’t buy this model again.

Nice microwave, quiet and heats fast. It does get a lot fingerprints around the push button to open the door.

This appliance matches our all-stainless steel kitchen. It's 1100 watts and interior size are superior to our prior GE microwave oven. Also, its larger use of exterior stainless steel, compared to the GE, better matches our other Whirlpool appliances. And perhaps most importantly, it is extremely quite--much more quiet than our prior GE. Although it is somewhat more expensive than other brands, the extra quality and value make this unit worth it.

This is a nice looking stainless microwave, but the door does not have a handle, which I personally like. It shuts very loudly (especially at 5 a.m. while house is sleeping & I'm trying to heat my coffee up). It does have nice features and pre-programmed selections, for ease of use. I have a full kitchen of whirlpool appliances & this micro is only one, that has a white LED display, rather than blue (a small thing, but noticeable when placed close together in a small kitchen). Time will tell!!

This microwave works very well. It replaced a predecessor model of the same size and output by Whirlpool that rusted on the inside, creating a short. This model is slightly louder than the model it replaced.

This is a great little microwave at a great price. The main reason we purchased it was because our customer wanted it built-in, but did not want to spend over $1,000 for a true built-in. It is simple to use and has nice big buttons which are easy to read for those with not so good eyes. (I still don't understand why so many manufacturers think it is a good idea to use white lettering on a light grey background.) Our customer only uses the microwave for very simple things, so she does not need a bunch of features and gadgets. This one fit the bill perfectly. We bought this microwave with the built-in surround kit so that it could be installed in the cabinet above her existing built in wall oven. It looks nice, but the surround is just cheap plastic and does not seem as well bulit as the microwave itself. She has only been using it for a month, but hopefully she will get many years out of it. If not, it was much less expensive than buying one of the built in models.

Bought this as a replacement for one that died, picked this to match stove and fridge, same brand and finish, I wish best buy had the countertop models on display so a person could see them instead of buying them sight unseen, personally i wish the door release button was larger, it is smaller than what we used to have and you need to use a fingertip instead of a thumb the same for the start and stop buttons, they could be larger, there is plenty of room on the panel, larger folks and older people or ones with dextarity issues might have issues with controls, it looks good and it runs quietly compared to previous unit. 4 stars because of the button issues otherwise good value and happy with purchase.

Good microwave for when you have limited countertop space. Second time we have bought this model. Will last 5 years which is all you can expect from a small household appliance nowadays. Allows simultaneous independent cook and timer operation, which some models do not.

Just the right unit and size we needed for our cafe. This matched one we already so the look was the same. We have bought several of these and they work great.
