Have had this dishwasher for a little over a year. Use it almost everyday. After the third or so use the dishwasher started making this awful whining noise, like it was about to blow up our blast off. I’ve been dealing with warranty and trying to get it fixed ever since. I’m starting to regret my purchase. When it does work though we love it!

Simple controls, efficient wash cycles and super quite dishwasher. I purposely bought a non internet dishwasher. I don’t need to pay extra for a “smart” dishwasher. Cleans great and that’s the purpose!

Price was good. Delivery went very well. Installation presented no insurmountable problems. This unit replaced a high-line Kitchenaid that was about 13 years old and was starting to fall apart. A like-kind replacement was just too expensive. This Whirlpool unit has fewer cycle options compared to the Kitchenaid it replaced, but it does a fantastic job and is still remarkably quiet. I find that I don't need all of the cycle options that came on the more expensive Kitchenaid.

I love this dishwasher. The way it is played out fits our needs. Perfect. Quiet, efficient. Does a great job cleaning everything. Can’t be happier. Priced right.

Excellent dishwasher and very quiet. Matches all our prior whirlpool appliances that were purchased at best buy.

Easy to install, beautifully matches my older appliances, has a great top rack for small items tjat normally have no place to go (re-usable straws, kids cup lids, etc), and is quiet. It cleans 100% better than our old unit using less energy.

Better than my old disher which was loud and noisy

Bought it for how quiet it is and was pleasantly surprised the lack of noise surpasses our expectations. Standing at the machine in operation and can barely hit it. Also cleans better than any other unit I’ve ever owned. Plenty of space to keep loading and loading. Usually running it only because we are running out of cups or utensils. 3rd rack is perfect for hiding the larger spoons and such and cleans as well as if they were on the bottom rack.

Love it! It's so quiet and efficient! Finally a dishwasher that you actually have CLEAN dishes when it ends. Even in all various cycles.

Very happy with the build quality of this dishwasher. It's replacing a GE dishwasher which had been purchased in the past 10 years or so. While noticeably louder than the GE, it's still quite quiet and have no complaints with its noise through any of the clean cycles. It performs its cleaning duties quiet well, has a good range of options with the trays and how to rack and stack items. The upper tray is a nice convenience item. The dishwasher door gives a very satisfying feel when opening and closing. It feels very well built and designed with good tolerances. It has a much better build quality than the GE, albeit slightly louder in operation but entirely acceptable for modern dishwashers. Much better than units from the past.

Like the look. Love the count down to let you know how much times left. Sometimes it doesn’t dry everything, even I with extended dry and for baby bottles we do sanitize rinse and extended dry so it takes like 4 hours and for some reason the bottles still don’t dry completely we have to sit them on the counter to finish drying.

Very quiet when running, plenty of room for all your dishes, utensil rack is very convenient. Good selection of wash cycles.

It's very quiet and has enough room for everything. Most of the time it cleans pretty well, but I've had one instance so far where one plate and one bowl didn't get clean. The bowl had had pasta with ricotta cheese in it. So that is a little understandable as the cheese had dried and it is hard to remove. However, I'm still not sure why the plate didn't come clean. Perhaps it was the way it was loaded. I'm still giving it 5 stars. I haven't had it very long. So maybe it's an isolated incident.

Dishwasher is working great. But my rating is based upon the following: Ease of use of website when comparing products, delivery day and time were as advertised, and the delivery team was professional.

Finding a dishwasher these days can be a scavenger hunt. Finding a dishwasher you really want is a relief. Our old unit died after 13 years. The Whirlpool we wanted became available. The unit has not disappointed. Quiet, easy to use, most importantly clean pots and pans, dishes and silverware. When I say quiet, I mean quiet. You can have a conversation while running and not notice it is on. The 3rd rack is a bonus. Great for larger utensils. The basket in the bottom rack is removable allowing for more room. The upper rack can be lowered as needed for tall glasses etc... Delivery and installation went smooth. We are satisfied with the purchase and would highly recommend.

Dishwasher cleans great, even on the 1 hour cycle. The 3rd rack is great for keeping the little items and/or utensils from falling through the rack!

Every time I but dirty dishes in the come out clean

After a few weeks, started getting the F8 E4 error code, signaling a leak detected in the base pan. A technician came out and tried different things to fix. Afterwards, a few cycles later, I noticed a large puddle on the right side under the door, after running for a while. A technician came out and couldn't pinpoint the error, maybe thinking something was inhibiting one of the spray arms. Now, after another few cycles, I've noticed another leak, this time on right side in the middle of the unit (looking with a flashlight in between the unit and the cabinet). Another repair scheduled for 10 days from now. Bottom line do not buy this unit unless you want to babysit it for leaks. Never have I been more disappointed in Whirlpool.

I am a hand dishwasher person by habit, but got this and used it and loved it. Dishes came out clean. It wasn’t really noisy so I have no complaints. Love it.
