Customers are delighted by the generally positive aspects of the product, although some have noted concerns. The long cycle times also received some negative feedback. Improvements in these areas would enhance the overall user experience.

Spend $200 Extra for Another Machine

I got this machine as a gift when my old dishwasher died. Initially I was impressed and happy. However, you have to always wash on Pots & Pan Cycle or your tupperware will not get clean. Also I have loaded this dishwasher in different directions to try to determine the best way to get plasticware clean. You have to place bowls upside down to get them clean. All of the cycles take a lot of time and I think it could be a little more quite. Overall I wish I had matched the amount that was paid and bought a better machine because this one takes up a lot of my time.

This is our first dishwasher in our first home. We went with Whirlpool because the other appliances were Whirlpool in our kitchen. It's the cheapest tall-tub dishwasher they offer and it's pretty good! The only thing we don't like is that it's pretty loud while it's running and it takes a very long time to go through a cycle, but it's energy star compliant and that's great for us!

    So So Dishwaser

Unless your dishes are totally rinsed off then this dishwasher only cleans good on Pots and Pans. If not, you have to either scrub the food off (caked on now do to the heat) or try washing them again. Also you have to put bowls complete upside down or they do not clean as good. The dishwasher runs for a long time using alot of energy and water. On the positive side it quieter than our old dishwasher and the space to put big pots is wonderful. If you are using the Pots and Pans option then your dishes very clean.

My old machine washed in 30 minutes so when I bought this one, the first time it went up to 1.30 minutes and I was not happy but after reading the manual and playing with the different cylces I am very happy that it works great. First it saves energy. Second, I like the racks and it is more spacious and the rack on the door can be removed and also opened to rmove big laddles. Third, it needs hot water to begin working immediately. Fourth, you can load dirty dishes. No need to rinse and it takes care of it. It does great cleaning.

My wife is happy, she says the rack layout is great to allow for different ways of placing in the items to be cleaned. Cleans very nicely and QUIET. I didn't want a bottom of the line dishwash & got this one, I'm happy. I installed it my self, not bad at all, took a couple hours to take out the old one and put this one in. It sanitizes & does hi-temp washes... Cool stuff!

I have 6 kids, so I go through dishwashers like crazy. I LOVE this one! It's got a deep tub which I use because, well, I NEVER use a teeny sauce pan. There's also a key lock on this so my little "helpers" can't stop the cycle or chage it. The only negative is that the silverware drawer needs to be a teeny bit bigger, but it's in the door so I can have more room in the tub. That's a good trade for me!

We love this dishwasher. We don't need to rinse dishes at all and they come out perfectly clean. It is very quite in comparison to other dishwashers we have used. One downfall is the water has to be hot first, so we just run our faucet for a few seconds until hot. The other negative is it doesn't seem to dry properly with the door left closed, so we open the door a crack after the drying and sanitized cycle is done and this seems to solve the problem. Also, the silverware area is small but we have so much room inside for dishes that it evens out. Overall we love this dishwasher. All of the negatives are very small and we can deal with those. Great dishwasher for the money
