The refrigerator is magnificent! It is extremely large. I am able to put so much food in it. The freezer part is spacious. Very modern looking. Love the ice maker. Never had one before!

Needed something economical to replace daughter's old fridge. Better than expected according to past reviews. Quiet operation (except using ice dispenser) no leaking. Ice dispenser behind water is a slight issues but ease to water for bottles and large cups outweighs this.

Cavernous insides. Well laid out shelves. Fits a pizza box - many don't. A bit noisy. The hinges need a cover. Lacks a numerical temperature gauge. Anti smudge stainless really works.

Although this refrigerator is fairly new to us we like it. I really like the ice shape from the icemaker I always hated the half moon shaped ice that always seemed to want to slide down the glass into your face. This ice is more of a square shape. What I don't particularly like: The main shelves are not adjustable, so anything over a certain height (which is not tall by any means) must go on the top shelf or door shelves , which are adjustable. Also if you don't use the ice very quickly it tends to freeze up in the holding bin rendering the door dispenser inoperable.

Fridge is nice. Looks great. There are a few flaws and things that made me return this one to Best Buy. First, and most disappointing was the produce/meat drawers are so cheaply done. They don’t glide.. AT ALL!!! It’s like plastic on plastic and a very rough and noisy motion when sliding the drawers open. They are even harder to open with things are stored in them and it’s weighted down. The drawers need to be on a track system. They are not! Secondly, the ice dispenser is set back too far for a large cup and you have to tilt your glass too high to fill it, preventing you from filling it all the way. Thirdly, the water dispenser died drip from time to time. Lastly the icons on the door don’t stay light and aren’t motion activated...(as they need to be) making it hard to see what to push in the dark. I returned this to Best Buy. The price point is far too high for this cheaply designed refrigerator! Mostly disappointed with this so I’d suggest you scrutinize it very well before you buy it!

Refrigerator is very roomy. . Especially like the section in freezer for pizzas. I do wish the shelves were adjustable though.

I really like this refrigerator. I had a Whirlpool before and would continue to buy that brand. It’s dependable and lasts long. I’m not concerned with a bunch of bells and whistles. Just wanted a reliable refrigerator with water and ice maker! I really like the look of it. It’s more ascetically pleasing then many of the higher end models. I read the reviews before I purchased and the comment I saw most often was it made noise. Yes, it does have a sound most likely when the temperature is adjusting. It is not very loud and it doesn’t bother or concern me. It’s just normal. If you’re looking for a reliable appliance that should last for years, this is it! If you want fancy fangled expensive that doesn’t last don’t buy a Whirlpool.

This side-by-side refrigerator/freezer usually does its job of keeping cold items cold, frozen items frozen, making ice and filtering water. However, there is no internal temperature number visible, only a series of little lights on the outside control panel. So it’s difficult to know or adjust the temperature correctly without buying & adding a couple of thermometers. The shelves are not adjustable. Also, the freezer’s divided top shelf wasn’t working correctly at first, since a piece was missing. And apparently, the specifications were wrong, because the manufacturer sent a wrong replacement part twice, based on the specs. Whirlpool has a good reputation, so hopefully a newer version has corrected these issues.

I got it an a discount price, so as good deal. I wish it had more space inside. Also, I wish that the height of each shelf was higher, so that I can put taller items in the fridge.

Really like the freezer with the ice on the door. It gives much more room in the freezer. The controls are on the outside with the water and ice which is more convenient. I've only had the refrigerator for 12 days and am still getting used to the wider shelves on the door and less shelve room in the refrigerator. The shelves are not adjustable to different levels so I had to remove one of them to put the watermelon in. I like the look of the shiny doors rather then the no fingerprint. Over all I'm happy with my purchase.

I've been using this Whirlpool 24.5 side-by-side for about 12 days now. It's an okay refrigerator. I was happier with the used white Whirlpool top freezer we had for 5 years before this, but we wanted more space. For $2,000 (including warranty) I would expect better. There are many reviews that say ice falls out of the external dispenser randomly... believe those reviews. It happens pretty much daily and its annoying that a $2k purchase has that big of a flaw. Another issue people had was with the location of the external water dispenser spout. They mentioned that it's too forward and any residual water falls straight down the fridge and to the floor. Thats correct too. If you're careful, it's fine, but if you have guests that want to use the fridge the way it's supposed to be used, be ready to clean up. Not too big of a deal. The one thing I was excited about was that my door handles were actually lined up. Some people said theirs were offset and I wasn't looking forward to that, but ours were fine. I've considered returning this fridge under the 15 day return, but I'm not ready to deal with that hassle and just want to have a fridge that works. Would I buy it again? Nope. I love the look of Samsung, but they have issues with the coils freezing over so we didn't buy a Samsung. Before this Whirlpool we bought a used Samsung and sure enough the coils froze and the fridge stopped cooling within 2 weeks. Not a fun experience. However, this hasn't been fun either. My favorite part of this purchase was getting the warranty ($350)

This is the loudest fridge I've ever heard. Doesnt make much ice either. The drawers guides do not exist. If you pull the middle drawer the cover will come with it. I do like the size and the brightness of the light. On other hand I'm a little irritated with best buys installers. The managed to scratch up my paint and drywall during the exchange. Waiting for them to call back in 15min...2 hours ago

has issues with ice dispenser- ice cubes get stuck in chute and melt there and/or fall onto floor creating small pool of water. Storage temperatures easy to control and maintain desired temp per the presets

Nice refrigerator and live the space inside! Easy to clean too. The only con is water tray gets full From ice and sometimes goes on floor when you open freezer door

Great customer service at the Northlake location. The store associate was able to answer all of our questions. Product was delivered on a timely manner. We love our new Whirlpool Refrigerator. It's spacious and operates in a way that makes the whole family happy. One thing that I love about the refrigerator is that it's fingerprint resistant. No more constant smudge cleaning for me.

Came with the house i just bought 8months ago. Works perfectly!

I love it. great design and cools really well. Also preserves Vegetables longer. The flaws, water tends to leak from dispenser, drawers not high enough for beer in 2nd and 3rd rows.

Very loud turns off and on each you open the door.looks nice , works well, largest freezer space i found within this class, very functional.
