It fit in the previous cutout from the prior stovetop. It shines beautifully. I cannot believe how quickly it heats up . The extra simmer switch is a wonderful extra knob. I can't tell you how much I love this stove.

Very nice looking Cooktop. It has some great features for all your cooking needs. The burners heat up very quickly which was a nice plus for me.

Love all the different ways I can use the burners on this cooktop.One can be made smaller,can go to a simmer mode,one has a melt. It is making my cooking a breeze.

Installed this in my new kitchen. It is so hard to clean, is already scratched, and looks like an old cooktop in new kitchen. Very unfortunate. Do not buy in black.

I replaced a Whirlpool Electric Cooktop! I called Whirlpool prior to purchasing to correctly identify correct size. Too soon to evaluate quality of product - but I love Whirlpool products.

We remodeled our kitchen and replaced the appliances with Whirlpooll appliances. The old appliances were white and we wanted stainless steel.

First of all, my husband installed this by himself so if you have an average grasp of installation instructions, you should be able to do it yourself and save some money. It looks very nice, heats up quickly, and I love that there is a light that stays on after you turn the burners off, to let you know that the top is still hot, and the light stays on until it is cool to the touch. We bought this as a replacement for an electric coil cooktop. I had reservations because we had never had a smooth top before and I was reading all the reviews about how hard they are to clean and how they scratch easily. Yes, it is hard to clean, but use the recommended type of cleaners for it AND clean it as soon as possible. The longer you let spills dry on it, the harder it is to clean. We have kids that like to cook but they don't clean up right away! No scratches yet, but that day may come (later rather than sooner, I hope) What I mainly don't like is that the top is so smooth that pans slide around when you are stirring something with one hand. There is nothing to "grip" the bottom of the pan, so I have to remember to hold the pan handle with one hand while stirring with the other. No more multitasking for me!
