I am not sure about this one. It uses just drops of water, I am used to the clothes soaking in the water. there is no agitator in the middle, one towel got water rinsed on it. I am exchanging it. I'm aware and into water conservation but this is ridiculous!! It has a very fast spin at the end but due to such little water, that looks humorous. I've never heard of the special soap HE you need for this, it is similar to a dry cleaning.

Excellent washing machine at a good price ........

We needed a washing machine right away, so we found one at the Chino store. We took over 3 hours to pick it up with driving and waiting. When we went to install it, the cord was defective and unsafe to use. Best Buy would not send anyone out to fix it and will not come to pick it up. They expect us to take another 3 hours to return it. The best part is that one of their service center people named Rachel (in Texas) scheduled us to have a new one delivered with the broken one to be picked up. Today, I talked to a supervisor (sounded like a Texas accent) named Sarah (who refused to give me her last name for this review) who said that Rachel had lied to me and that no new machine was coming. I will never buy anything from Best Buy ever again.

Only lasted 4 years and already had problems. Had to replace a pump. Major pain. Then it started making a horrible noise in the past month. Will never buy again!

No matter what amount of clothes /sheets I put into this thing, it will NOT fill with water as indicated in the instruction graphics. In fact, if you put a set of king sheets in there, it will not get the top of the load wet during the wash cycle- totally lame! Means my sheets aren't getting clean. Once the rinse kicks on, the items get 'wet', but not washed. This is going back ASAP.

Came defective. I'm suffering. I was so excited to get it. First load took 4 hours ! Doesn't spin well so the clothes are still wet at the end of the cycle. I'm really upset over this purchase. Will return for a different model.

I love the idea of saving water but the “sensors” on this washer don’t allow for enough water to wash clothes properly. To get enough water you need to have the setting on blankets (verified by 2 repairmen) even for a small load. Then you wind up wasting water.

This washer is terrible! The geek squad came out for repairs twice and now it isn't working. Of course the warranty is up...smh.

We have had this washer for 3 years and have never been happy with it. It ripped our clothes at first and now we are having a problem because it doesn't actually clean our clothes! I am not sure if our clothes are just dirtier than usual or something broke in the machine but some of my clothes come out of the washer with dry spots still on them!!!! And dont even get me started if you try to use a Tide pod! We are going to try to add water to the load before it starts to wash to trick the machine. The problem is clearly that there is not enough water in the loads at all!!! WE are very unhappy with this washer and just want an old one with an agitator! The HE machines are horrible!!!

i choose this washer first and foremost because of the Whirlpool name. I was replacing a Samsung which several repair companies wouldn't touch. It was delivered on 11/20. I noticed a strange smell and figured it was because of new plastic. About 3 weeks in we washed a comforter that caused the machine to shift in its drain pan. I noticed there were small black spots in it. Wiped them off, and didn't think twice. Washed anther big load which caused shifting in pan, and saw them again. I found help to help me lift the washer and we found a pool of oil underneath. Called Best Buy and since it was 60 days past purchase I had to call whirlpool for a repair. Tech came out and said bad bearings and it was MISSING A BELT! I called Whirpool to demand a new machine but since the repair man can order parts they will not replace it with a new one. 60 days in and I am having to replace missing parts. Ridiculous!

If you plan on washing only 1 or 2 items this is the washing machine for you. However, if you plan on washing more than that, stay clear away from this washing machine! When it say s high efficiency it means barely using any water. There are videos after videos (I should have checked) where customers are trying to trick this machine into thinking there is a bigger load so it will put out more water. Again, DON'T BUY if you want your clothes to come out clean.

Have owned this washer owner a year and have had the repair person here twice to get the machine ti rinse the soap out of the clothes. Have tried all types of detergents and nothing helps. Usuall. Have to run through the wash cycle 3 times to get soap out of. Clothes.

Died after 4 years...happy to see it go...way to noisy.

Maybe I got a dedactive Washer but for this price I was dissapointed. I need to read more reviews nexr time. I exchage it and took a chance on a Samsung. No issues But I really wanted 'AMERICAN MADE" but not this time. Hopefully they will look into the quality instead of quanity

Purchased Aug 2020. Two years of use and it won't balance during spin. I had the shocks replaced but that did not help. Going with another brand with my replacement.

Picked up the washer on Jan 11. Worked great until this morning. It fills, then sits there. And of course it's 1 day past the allowed 15 day return. Last major appliance I'll buy from Best Buy, & I won't buy another Whirlpool.

Can’t wash 6 towels without it shaking the whole house. Then when it’s “done” towels are soaking wet. I’m never buying whirlpool again.

Like others, I wish I had read the reviews first! This machine left my Tide Pod in a big wadded chunk on my clothes, I'm itchy from the soap that did get on them not being rinsed off and worst of all the clothes are sopping wet when the cycle is over. I would turn it on to "Spin and Drain" only for more water to be sprayed in the tub and have wet clothes again. If Whirlpool installs a wringer on the top like old washing machines, this one may be ok. Ridiculous. And I had the issue with 2 of these machines back to back. Luckily Best Buy has been AMAZING to work with!

I should have returned this immediately but I didn't. I'm disabled and regret buying this more than I can say. It never cleaned well. I had to only do small loads so much more work for me. I'd have to waah many items twice so not saving water or energy. After 3 years, it's pretty much garbage. I can wash 2 to 4 items at a time or it shakes & sounds like the washer will explode. I'm on a fixed income so now I'm hoping this garbage will hold up until I can save up for a new one. Whirlpool used to be a trusted brand. Never again.

Broke in 4.6 yrs. Needed a new replacement! Dont buy!
