Running our first load now and the noise this thing makes makes me want to rip my ears off. This is going back immediately.

If you want clean clothes, do not buy a government regulated HE top loader Washer. These machines do not use enough water to even get the load wet. Look on you tube to see all the ridiculous hacks people have had to invent to get enough water into the tub to clean clothes. All of them are the same. There is no way around this accept to ad a bucket of water to the machine after it fills. The return rate on these must be over 75%. Why do they even sell them ??

Purchased this washer to replace the one I had for over 12 years. This washer is loud and DOES NOT SPIN FAST enough to get the water out of the clothes. It didn't matter how small or big the load was. I tried everything and eventually had to always put it on drain and spin after the wash cycle. Returned it for model # wtw8000bw and I LOVE IT!!

had it delivered, plugged it in and on the very first wash makes a very loud clicking sound when it agitates and spins. spend the extra 75 and get an LG.

The washing machine does not last more than five years it is having a lot of issues from draining the washing machine moves a lot you’re wasting your time get a better washer

I literally had this washer delivered/set up 6 hours ago. When I got home from work, I attempted to begin my 1st load. The machine put nowhere NEAR enough water in for the load of clothes before it started "washing". MOST OF THE CLOTHES WERE STILL DRY! The washer stays stuck on the "sensing" cycle for over 10 minutes & makes an obnoxiously loud noise while doing so. Im pretty sure they dryer is just as bad or worse. I should have read the reviews on the poc before buying it...I have arranged for an exchange. I hope that the LG is much better.

I bought this washing machine about 2-1/2 years ago and used it once a week. I couldn't start the machine last week, and tried all troubleshooting per the manual, but no luck. A Whirlpool contract service tech inspected the machine and believed that the circuit board of the machine was dead due to a power outage, and the cost to fix it is $530, which is almost equivalent to 75% of the price of a new machine. Why there is no built-in protection to prevent this costly damage from a power surge ?

This washer sounds like a train while running, and it is brand new. Very noisy. Called Whirlpool and they said the noise is normal and "most customers get used to it after a while".

Horrible washer. Doesn't rinse the wash well at all. Leaves a lot of detergent in the clothes. I had an older whirlpool washer for years. I did not need special detergent or clean the washer or pay insurance in case I need repair???? I loved the low, medium and full water level of the older whirlpool. I hear Maytag is better

i am so upset with this washer. this is the second time we have had problems with it draining and spinning. when researching what the problem could be, we found a ton of complaints for the same problem. it was bought in 2018, and its probably cheaper to buy new than to have a tech come out at minimum $150 just to come.

Loud and walks across the room. You have to babysit this or it pulls from the wall. repair guys could not fix it.

New washer shook and vibrated excessively during the spin cycle. The washer was perfectly leveled, it didn't help. Had to return it and buy another model.

I bought this washer a bit over a month ago. Tonight was the fifth time I went down to put the clothes in the dryer and the were soaked, dripping wet. So I had to turn the knob to spin and drain and sit there for 15 minutes while that cycle ran through to drain the clothes all the way. That is ridiculous and I’m not happy

bought this for my son in march 2015. didnt buy warranty because in last 20 years only had 2 washers with never a problem. this one just stopped working.

Not only was this washer a piece of ****, but Best Buy's customer service was horrible. Wait...beyond horrible. I have never experienced so much frustration while purchasing a product. I cannot stress enough that I will NEVER shop at Best Buy again after this experience. They didn't deliver when they were suppose to, then when they deliver, they delivered damaged goods. NEVER, NEVER , NEVER again.

My machine has leaked since I purchased it. Whirlpool convinced me not to return the lemon machine. Now out of warranty it still leaks onto my floor and now they want to "Sell me a new one". I have had it worked on 9 times and had 14 parts replaced. It still leaks and after many call and numerous hours on the phone to Whirlpool, they will not replace the machine. TERRIBLE PRODUCT

It stopped working 3 years after I bought it. I always buy whirlpool but now I have had 2nd thoughts on the brand. Disappointed

To say I dislike this machine would be an understatement. I hate it! On the normal cycle, it does not get the soap out of the garments. On the bulky items cycle, it slings all the items to one side, this forces the machine into an ‘UL’ cycle. This prolongs another 10 minutes and a waste of a lot of water. When we purchased it, a guy walked by and stated - you will be sorry. If you purchase it, you have been forewarned.

Poor Quality!!! Poor Service!!!!! I also purchased 5 years exceed warranty, when I tried to make a repair appointment, they told me I have to contact whirlpool by myself !!!!!! Horrible service !!!!!!
