No, I would not recommend this to a friendOff Balance when washing King-sized sheets

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you use king-sized sheets (or even queen-sized sheets per the tech), do not buy this washing machine. You must wash one sheet at a time. If you wash two sheets on normal cycle or even quick wash cycle, the machine goes off balance, jumps back about 6", and continues cycling forever. Only way to stop it is to turn off circuit breaker. Although I have used many Whirlpool products in the past, I do not recommend this one.

This was before it even started to fill with water.
