This range is a good value for the cost with five burners of a varied BTU output and a perfect match to our other Whirlpool stainless steel appliances. Bear in mind that this unit does not have convection or self-cleaning capabilities that one would expect with higher priced units. Our only complaint with this range is the materials chosen for the top and control panel surface. The black stove top shows every speck, drop, or wisp that finds a place on it and the surface is most difficult to keep clean the same can be said for the stainless steel accent piece on the control panel. With that said, we've learned to be overly careful when cooking in order to avoid any extra cleaning maintenance.

Overall , I like my new gas stove. One of the reason that I chose this gas stove was because of its versatility. It provided me with a top grill which I love, and it also was one of the few gas ranges that came with a lower broiler. The only negatives that I have discovered about this range, the lower broiler does not come with a tray, you will have to use one of the racks from the stove, and it is not self cleaning

Bought this as an open box model and the price was right for a 5 burner range. Docked a star for not self cleaning.

Good basic oven for the price. Disadvantages are no self cleaning features and the broiler is on the bottom. I would probably only use it for browning. If I needed to broil something, I would probably use a counter top appliance for ease of use and cleaning. The 5 burner feature was what I liked best. It came with a griddle which is a bit small. Good if you are only making one or two servings, but again if I were feeding a family pancakes, I’d probably go with a counter top electric griddle.

I was not happy with my Kenmore, it was 6 years ole and had given us nothing but trouble. We went to Best Buy to purchase a new stove, we were looking for something with sealed burners, a below the oven broiler and no self cleaning options. I have now used my stove for three weeks. I love it. It is so nice to not have to light the burners with a match or lighter!

The only issue is not having the self cleaning feature but not having it actually has made me more careful with my cooking. The stove is easy to use and the oven gets hot quick. Nice inside light and the heat stays in the oven. Great buy for a great product.

We really like the oven. So far it's done a great job. Oven cooks well and the stove gets things hot quickly. Only complaint would be self cleaning but you have to pay more for such things

We didn't notice it was not self cleaning...so pay attention! Also the front 2 burners are very hot, to boil a small amount of water, we need to use the center burner

5 burners and a griddle came with this range. The only drawback is it is not a self cleaning oven. cleans easily with soap and water

I wish it had a self cleaning feature. I didn’t even know ovens were made without it. Other than that I really like it.

First before reviewing the product itself, allow me please to review the seller. I made this purchase online. It was very easy to buy and I got it delivered to my house for no extra charge. The delivering company representatives are very friendly and very helpful. I didn't order the installation and planned to do it myself. The guys asked me if I want to change my mind! I said no. I want to do it myself. So, without asking (or extra charges) they assisted me on connecting the propane line to the oven and checked it for leak before I pushed the oven into its spot. Unbelievable... Now the oven range: It is just fine. Way better than the old one (which is obvious) it has a nice way to control the oven. I like the top with the distribution of the burners. The oven heats up really fast and the burners deliver even flame around the 360 degree (unlike my previous range). One issue I had with the oven that the bulb came with defect. The bulb was out of the sockets as the glue came off or something. I called bestbuy about it and they offered me an oven range replacement with free installation as they don't carry the bulb or I had to call whirlpool. After some research I found out that it has not to be a special (Whirlpool bulb) and just any appliances bulb with the advised Watts. That's what the rep at bestbuy failed to explain to me. She has no experience with that! She maybe just tried to tell me that I can't put any bulb in there. Got that bulb in Walmart. Very cheap... and no need to call Whirlpool or replace the oven. I knew this oven has no self cleaning function but it is not hard to clean at all. Jut you need to have the right tools. Happy with the purchase and very satisfied with the seller.
