I was told to refer to the manual. It does not come with a broiler pan or rack. You are supposed to take a rack from the oven and place in broiler to use. Or, I was informed, go to the store and buy a broiler pan ! For the price, there should be a rack and broiler pan included. Had I known this, my choice would have been a different stove.

This unit performs well and does everything it’s supposed to. The reason for my low rating is that this thing gets INCREDIBLY hot to the touch. To the point that you can feel it radiate off of the stove. With 3 kids this is a safety issue. We immediately returned this item and upgraded to a stove with the self cleaning option (better heat insulation) and haven’t looked back.

Decent size oven

In terms of appearance, have noticed that the metal trimming on the sides of the oven door are starting to come loose. I would have to snap them back on. In terms of function, I have not had any issues. The oven works well and the stove top range is easy to clean and is efficient.

Hard to clean

One big problem

Not enough insulation in this stove. I wouldn’t be surprised if whirlpool gets sued. Self cleaning ovens have more insulation.

Burner screws unable to repair

Great at First

Good price range but after having the range for over a year now I know why. The oven igniter has to be replaced often if you bake a lot. No issues with the stove top or electrical so that's a plus. If I could do it all over again I would choose a different range. Replacing the oven igniter is a pain. I'm guessing this is why the price is so nice.

Between service call and cost to replace main control board, decided to replace. I used to swear by Whirlpool appliances. However my last two purchases were less than satisfactory. Purchased a stainless steal fridge that is showing rust spots and I am unable to get a streak free finish. I've tried multiple stainless steel cleaning products to no avail.

HORRIBLE to clean!

The oven temp is accurate and having a 5 burner stove top is a plus but that's the end of the good news. The stove top is nearly impossible to clean! I have never had problems like this, it's like there isn't a finish on the top or something. Even something as simple as a pot boiling over leaves marks that are nearly impossible to get off. Not to mention how hot the sides and oven door get when the oven is on. If I had to do it over I would definitely pick a different stove.
