Cost $800 for plumber to change 1.5” to 2” P valve

After two install attempts it still is not balanced. Now its leaking. Called plumbet who said my 1.5” P valve needs to be replaced with a 2” diameter drain. Plumber and parts cost $800!! This washer has now doubled in cost.

Worst washer ever

This is the worst washer I have ever had. It constantly makes loud noises. Doesn’t wash good. Can’t wash a comforter in it. I’m so upset I wasted my money on this and can’t get anyone on the phone that is in this country. I’m not satisfied at all.

I bought the washer and dryer set in January of 2021, not even 3 full years and it’s broken and washer is broken and cost’s about the same price of a new one to fix. Whirlpool will not fix because there is no extended manufacturer warranty on this specific appliance unless purchased. Wasn’t the best washer for the full price we paid.

Whatever you do, do not buy a Maytag product. We bought a top load washing machine in May of 2021 and have had it break down twice. It first broke down on December 23rd, and we had to wait until January 4th for a service technician. It than took another 5 weeks to get the part, and another 2 weeks to get a service man back out to repair it. Once it was repaired on February 21, it brook down again 2 days later. We now have to wait another 2 weeks for a repair man.
I REPEAT, DO NO BUY A MAYTAG/WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCE! You will regret it.
