The Whirlpool convection glasstop stove performs very well. We found that the frozen bake feature is immediately useful. A frozen pizza baked rapidly and we found that the pizza was thoroughly cooked. Also the design of the stove enabled a good fit into a tight situation.

    Not worth the money

This is one of our 4 piece appliance suite we purchased. There is a painted stainless trim piece on top and it started delaminating within 2 months of purchasing. Contacted geek squad who directed me to whirlpool, as it is cosmetic. Whirlpool said too bad so sad, you only have 30 days for any cosmetic damage. They sent me stainless steel polish. The piece is PAINTED stainless. Paid a lot of money just to have it look like crap. Also, the aqua-lift oven cleaning system does absolutely nothing. I believe there is actually a class action law-suit about it being garbage! All 4 of my whirlpool appliances have broken within 13-15 months. Takes 2-4 weeks to have anything repaired. If you buy whirlpool, buy the extended warranty thru whirlpool because they disown you after your one year manufacturer is up

Issues with stainless steel Paint chipping off

after we purchased this range, we have been seeing issues from 2nd month with little to no use where paint is being chipped off in several places and its now spreading rapidly. We have been using mild cleaner as mentioned in the manual. Not worth the price for what we get here. Also glass top shows lot of wear and tear after just 1 year moderate use. Older whilrpool range glass top which have been used for 10 years looks better this one.

    DO NOT BUY!!-VERY POOR QUALITY

I did my homework on this one-read reviews-most of which are complaints about glass cooktops being hard to clean. As I have had a glass cooktop before-I dismissed the mediocre reviews and made the plunge when this went on sale. It was delivered and looked great in the space for the first month. Then-I was cleaning the “stainless steel” trim with regular 409 and paper towels and the stainless look paint wrinkled and came right off!!! It was just a 2 inch strip area but really obvious.. I just assumed that it was my fault scrubbing too hard-but for an expensive major appliance-it should be sturdier. Two weeks later I was moving a pot and the glass scratched an inch long...first I was hoping it was something I could scuff out-but as I scrubbed-I found it was permanent. So I just resigned that I would have to live with the scuff and scratch. THEN I was cleaning tonight with just windex and I noticed the paint on the same trim piece was wrinkling-and now it looks awful!!! Check out the pictures. I have had the stove since December-less than a year and it is awful-not to mention outside of any Best Buy return policy. I’m so upset-please take my review to heart!!! I wish there was something Best Buy or whirlpool could do to fix or replace the affected part. Other than the really bad coating the stove and oven work just as expected.

The stove is nice and works great. But the glass top shows everything. Plus if something spills and you have to wait for it to cool before you can clean it, then it looks dirty from then on!

This is very user friendly, but the cooktop is impossible to clean off. Also this is a slide in range but does not over hang on the sides to cover the countertop, leaves gap on either side. Bought this after a defect with a Samsung range.

Great Oven but Hard to Clean Cooktop

Love the hidden bottom element and three racks. Also, the high and low broil. Not too hard to maneuver through the dials without reading the instructions. The bottom drawer is not big but it is usable and allows for the larger oven. Biggest drawback is the cooktop. It is really hard to keep clean. I use a cooktop cleaner but it streaks. I finally found I have to use window cleaner as a finishing touch to make it shine again. If not for this is would be 5 stars. Haven't had to clean it yet so I don't know how well the aqua clean works. Hope better than the cooktop clean. Still a good buy.

Had a Whirlpool Polara previously and loved it. This one is different in that the off is down instead of up but that's not a real issue. Otherwise it works very well. No issues to report and we are enjoying it.

Convection is working perfectly. Fan is not too loud this time. Having multiple burner size options is a real plus for me. Large size of oven is a real plus when cooking for a crowd. Easy to clean so far.

I have only used the stove, not the oven yet. It is very pretty and sits out further than my other Whirlpool did. I am having to get used to the off position of the knobs being at 6 o'clock, versus 12 o'clock. I am forever trying to make sure I don't leave the stove on. I have found that I have to clean the stove top continuously. The top is black and EVERYTHING shows up on it. After only heating something in a small boiler, the entire stove has to be cleaned due to the burner showing use and then streak marks on the stove top. The touch controls are very nice, but the overall ability to keep this area, and the knobs clean is awful. The area has so many different dimensions, that cleaning them all equally is very difficult. And, since it's black, it shows every little mark or streak. Due to most of the stove being more black, than stainless, it does make my kitchen slightly darker than I had anticipated. Even though I have not used this over, I have the built-in wall convection oven and I have had a hard time trying to determine proper cooking times. I need to read the instruction manual more thoroughly to make sure it is not cooking error, but I have never had to covert time and temperature for a convection over before, as my previous Whirlpool did that automatically.

Very pleased with this range. We had said when it came time to replace our previous stove we would purchased a slide in range for a more upscale look. We had purchased an LG refrigerator a couple of years ago and wanted to continue with one brand of appliances. However, the LGs were too commercial looking for our space and style of home. The Whirlpool also had the burner knobs in what we considered a safer position around children. Our kids and grands are grown, but for resale purposes. Happy with the even cooking. I am used to putting an oven liner in to catch spills, but cannot do that with the newer ranges as there is a heating unit in the base but otherwise, very pleased. I have even cleaned it and, while not as easy as the old self-cleaning ovens, it was. Fine.

I love the huge oven and control panel on the top of this range; it bakes very nicely and I really like the option of fast heat-up for one rack baking. The five burners are nice although I never used all five. There are two minor issues with this range, though. I am not crazy about the steam clean oven; you need to really work at cleaning the oven walls with a scrubber. One sales person said you can double the steam time to help loosen the stuff on sides of walls but I haven't tried this yet. Also, I would prefer to have the glass cooktop slide over the countertop for a sleeker look. This range is really a stand alone unit so I needed to get the silicone things to put on each side to go between countertop and range. Because my last slide in range went right over the countertop, the edges of the countertop were not finished; therefore I needed to cover them. The two issues don't affect the cooking and baking features, they work great.

I love the look , the quick heating. I like it all with one little exception, the cleaning of the smooth top. I have to be very careful how I place each pan and it stains pretty quick. Although I have the cleaning kit it still needs work to keep it clean and stainless.

So far good but now I have to get new pots and pans the ones I have are not smooth on the bottom and did scratch the top surface. I didn't know it would do it and now I'm a little nervous cooking on it for it will scratch it.

    Terrible quality and customer service

We bought this range in 2017 and initially loved it. The style and look are great and it works well. A few months into having the range we noticed that some of the faux stainless trim was peeling. Called Whirlpool and they agreed to replace the part, even though it was out of the 30 day window. Since then we've only cleaned the part with a paper towel and water. Less than a year later we are having the exact same issue. I called Whirlpool and they won't even acknowledge that there's an issue with this part. I came back to the Best Buy website and found that I'm not the only one having this problem and the photos of other reviews show the same problem that I'm having. Don't waste your money on this product - it won't stand up. Whirlpool needs to stop trying to save costs and use actual metal on this part instead of the cheap coating that they're currently using.
