The dryer does the job. There are excessive settings options and it is loud but overall is good

2 days past 1 year old and it's leaking water in drum items are coming out dry except for small areas of wet, not damp, wet. Also outside of drum on to floor.

Whirlpool is excellent, But Best Buy is not.......

have a Best buy plus member account. I have several whirlpool appliances. They are very reliable and last long time. This is a replacement for a 12 year old whirlpool dryer. I gave one star due to incomplete installation and poor customer service. The steam dryer installation kit (smart choice) was included when I purchased. The receipt has steam kit and show it was delivered. When I tried to do steam drying I realized it was never been delivered and installed. Then tried to contact customer service number and I was told it was delivered with the dryer, they can't do anything about it. Then I went to the store where I purchased and complained about this. They told me they have to investigate about this, instead of apologizing for their mistake take immediate request to install the missing steam kit. If this is the way Best Buy treat customers I don't want my next purchase their. So far no response from the store. The delivery people are responsible for delivery of all accessories delivered and installed for full operation of the dryer.

Appliances used to cost less and last 25 years. Now they are three times more expensive and last 6 years. 1 star for longevity and reliability. 5 stars for the rest.

I loved this dryer when it was new. After about 8 months it started to take 2 to 3 times to dry a small to normal load. After 1 year it started to take 3 to 4 times to dry. As of today at 1 year and 11 months old, the dryer no longer heats up at all and we face a 200-300 dollar repair. Not really what was expected with regular cleaning/maintanance on a $750 dryer.

I don't like the " Press and hold " to start the washer and dryer it takes too long to start

Even on the "More Dry" setting, I would have to run it 2-3 times to get my clothes all the way dry. One cycle alone kept leaving my clothes wet, not damp dry, but wet. Also, similarly, with its paired washer unit, it has no display or indicator for cycle duration so you pretty much are waiting for its industrial buzzer to go off to know when it's done which with its useless dryness sensor could be who knows when.

3rd party installation inadequately trained to handle exceptions during installation.  Use the customer have to manage the escalation.

Not they best dryer for the price. Had to get it “fixed” but it sounds really loud now.. and have to keep warranty on just in case it breaks again. Next time I’ll stick to another brand

This is SO loud. Usually takes 2 cycles to get clothes dry. Plus if you buy this set, your out about $1800 and stuck with a bad dryer and a washer that doesn't work to the point of doing laundry in the bathtub! Lots of water waste! Lots of money waste! Or you can go to the laundry mat and have lots of time waste! Or something else. AND pay money for these which are essentially nothing but a "prop". PLEASE don't do this! I'm past my return date by 1 day as I been trying all sorts of combinations of products. I hate this so much.

Disappointed that it doesn’t dry a full load very well. I I don’t know why I didn’t do my research on this before the purchase. I’m stuck with it until I can afford a new one. When you press the button to turn it on it also makes a cheap clanking noise.

I bought this dryer April of 2024. It quit working on me this morning! So I’m trying to figure out why it’s not heating. But a dryer that is a year old should not be breaking! Frustrating

It is not even a year old and the noise it makes is horrendous. You have to leave the house it is so loud. The geek squad will not work on it due to
Not being a year old and whirlpool won't send a tech! Told us to find our own. I will never purchase anything whirlpool again and not sure how I feel about the geek squad. This is ridiculous as we were not told this upon purchasing.

Dryer is not drying completely. Burnt on the inside. Only had it for a couple of weeks. Very loud.
