Igniter was broken, probably in shipping. Found out when my propane company came to convert natural gas dryer to propane. Other than that dryer works wonderfully! Very quiet and efficient. Would have given an excellent rating if Igniter was not broken, that is not the fault of the product itself.

This dryer replaced a gas Whirlpool dryer that was at least 20 years old. We decided to go with another Whirlpool. No bells and whistles just your basic dryer that has a timed dry that's 20 -70 minutes with a cool down. Temperature setting low, medium and high. There's a just fluff no heat. Also an automatic dry that's very dry, more dry, normal, less dry, cool down and wrinkle shield. The only complaint I have or this is just a more efficient dryer but the low temp setting was higher temp than I expected. I do some dry on low for 8-12 minutes then hang to dry. Items that are athletic fabrics and more delicate wear. The 1st time I did my usual, things came out almost dry and very hot. Now I check at about 5 minutes. Oh, I did notice there were complaints about the location of the lint filter. The location is the same as our old dryer and not an issue. I've never had a problem with the lint coming off the filter as I pulled it out. I clean it every 2nd load and for sure after a load of towels. We are very satisfied with our purchase. If it last for 20 years it will out live us! Lol!

Love my dryer can handle large loads quick dry space

I love my new Whirlpool Gas Dryer. The front loading door is what I needed for my limited space in laundry room. Easy to operate and meets my needs completely!

Works well. Would recommend. Runs quietly. I like that the door opens down and not a swinging door.

Get's the job done and glad I bought the open box in store deal after speaking with a technician that recommended Whirlpool dryers to me.

This is a great dryer. Works like a dryer is supposed too. I usually just use timed dry, but has alot of other drying features if i wanted to use them. The best thing is the loud beep when the dryer is done. So if i'm in the back of the house i still know when its done. Very affordable !!

This dryer performs well and is easy to operate. It doesn't have any unique features and the design is basic. I had limited space for the dryer placement, which narrowed my choices. I would have liked to have been able to choose and LG dryer to match my LG washer, but that was not possible with my space constraints. Still I like this dryer and appreciate that it has a light in the dryer which makes it easy to find all the items in the load.

I finally found it necessary to replace our Maytag dryer after 18 years (and two kids) worth of reliable service. After reading plenty of reviews on "fancier" dryers with all sorts of unnecessary features - which also weren't overly reliable - I decided to go with this Whirlpool. It has proven to be an excellent decision - so far. Very pleased with the Whirlpool's performance, and it has all of the features that we need - plus a few that are simply a bonus.

This dryer it’s quiet dries so fast clothes and si easy to use . Love all the options of drying time .

Great basic dryer. Works very well. Dries very quickly. My movers had dropped my dryer and messed up the drum and I wanted to save as much money as possible so I went with this one and I am very pleased with it.

Dryer was bought “open box” and works like new! Couldnt be happier! Its really difficult to review something that tells you what it is and does in the name. Its a dryer. It drys and does a great job at it. Once, I set clothes in front of it and left... came home and boom. The clothes were dried and the dryer even took the time and liberty to fold them and set them on my bed. It was a touching act of generosity and kindness. Don’t be scared to buy “open box”! Over all happy with performance so far. Dries rapidly. And with few if any wrinkles.very easy too use.
