I researched extensively before this purchase - so I expected it to be a little on the noisy side, which it can be in parts of the cycle, but it's in our basement so not an issue for us. I like being able to see into the washer via the glass top, and I don't. At times, the clothes seem only damp and with so little water in the machine, I wonder if they're truly getting clean and rinsed well. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt for the moment; this is my first HE machine. It just makes me a bit nervous to see the clothes being agitated, kinda roughly I think, when they're only sitting in about an inch of water & most of the fabric is damp at best. I wish it had more spin-speed options and the option to 'add water'. So far the only problem has been a white shirt of my husband's. It got some kind of black stain around it - possibly from his belt - and despite pre-treating & adding OxiClean with the powdered detergent, it didn't come out clean. I tried soaking it & putting it back in with other items - and that time it came out with pink stains on it that looked like they could have been from other clothing, except that none of the items should have bled. I washed in cold water, didn't use any bleach, and all items in the washer were old & had been washed many times before. No other clothing was stained with the pink color. Soaking the shirt in OxiClean in the sun wouldn't get the pink out. That's the first shirt I've ruined in years - perhaps decades. I've had a few other items that haven't come out stain-free so that's my only complaint. Yes, I did use the Heavy Soil setting. When the tub is rotating for the spin, it often seems to be completely unbalanced - but I'm guessing it's normal because I haven't ever had the unbalanced load alarm go off. The delay start is a feature I thought I'd never use, but it has been amazingly useful and helpful. I love the loud buzzer - I can hear it from upstairs when the wash is done. I can't wait to find out how much energy I'm saving vs. my 15-yr-old machine; I know I'm already saving money by using less detergent and fabric softener. I was pleased to be able to clean several pillows and our queen-sized winter comforter without having to go to the laundromat. Overall, I have been pleased with my Whirlpool Cabrio WTW5800BW for the month that I've owned it.

My old machine was 35 years old so this new machine was a wonderful upgrade. this machine has brought my water bill down 7.00 a month. Not only does it use much less water but the clothes are almost dry after the spin cycle. Don't be alarmed by the strange noises it makes. I understand the panel is quite expensive to replace so I hope it is well built and lasts many years

Looks great and have not had any problems in the month of owning it. Only complaints are its louder than expected, but can definitely sleep without a problem and the clear lid shows dirt from washing which gets annoying. Great choice though and I would recommend this to anyone who is on a budget.

I love my new washing machine. It is fairly complicated at first (I have to keep the manual close by at all times), but the way that it works is amazing. I never have to choose load size thanks to the sensing process the machine does automatically. There are so many different load cycles to choose from, there is a perfect one for whatever load you want to do. Also, it saves SO MUCH water! It's hard to believe as I'm watching it work, that it can use so little, but it does, and the clothes come out perfectly clean. It's an amazing machine.

We have owned this washing machine for just over a year. From the moment we started to use it I was disappointed. There is no way to soak an item for a while - no program setting for that. Clothes come out either very tangled or the largest garment forms a kind of circus tent over all the rest of the clothes meaning they don't spin. If it is unbalanced, over loaded, too much soap, there is a y in the day - it won't function. I have spent the past 48 hours trying to find out why it now won't drain and spin and the more I have googled, the more I see that this is a really common problem. I have pulled apart each part and put it back together, run the diagnostics codes - and it tells me there is a drain and spin problem. Thank you. that is why my garage is full of dripping wet clothes.....I don't have the time or money to get this annoying thing repaired.

We bought this for our condo in Texas and have used it extensively since we purchased it. The machine has functioned great with all clothes coming out clean. We have a Whirlpool Duet in our primary residence and have found no difference between the two in washing results. The BestBuy installers were neat and hookup was quick. I would definitely recommend this unit.

We are very happy with this washing machine; the machine is very easy to use and cleans efficiently & effectively. I have a three bedroom condo and the laundry room is in the far end of the hall; and when we are in our individual rooms or in the front of the condo you cannot hear the washing machine running. It does go through a sensing process prior to the cycle beginning, which can be noisy but, overall it is a quiet machine.

Our old washer kept backing up so we decided to just go ahead and get a new one that was more efficient. Love all the features and it can do a load of laundry in a decent amount of time (well for me at least).

After reading the reviews on this washer, I had some doubts as to whether or not it would perform as I wanted it to perform. I was very surprised to see that it went above and beyond ever my highest expectations. It not only cleaned extremely well, it also didn't impact my water or electric bills as much as my previous washer. Great washer!

We needed a washer that could keep up with 6 in the household and do everything from baby cloths to blankets and it does great! Without the agitator you can wash bulky idems, easy!

It's good to have this many options for clothes. I'm pleased that it is very quiet. Fit well where the old washer was even though it is a little taller than our old one.

just wanted something to do the job, nothing elaborate for laundry, i was surprisingly impressed when i saw the stylish appearance of this one, it works great and looks cool, the only thing i would change is the top is slanted makes it difficult to fold/stack clothes on

We went back to a top loading washer after hating our front loader. This washer does exactly what we need it to at a great price. We have not seen the water issue some people complain about...all in all 5 stars.

This is a great washer, fits lots of stuff. My only caution would be that it is a little noisy.

I like the washer. I love the wide range of wash levels. I like that I can ask for no spin on very delicate items. The only thing is that it is noisy.

The quality is outstanding and the washer uses almost no water and cry little soap. It can handle very large loads with ease. The top load is much better than the front load because there is no seal where water gets trapped and molds. I would recommend Whirlpool Cabrio to all heavy laundry users.

This washer replaced a washer that I only had for two years. So far, so good! It seems to clean much better than my old one. I would now like to purchase matching dryer when it goes on sale again.

My wife and I were left scrambling for a washer after our Maytag died on us. This was on clearance and we are ecstatic very comparable to a front load in quality, has all the bells and whistles.

I have had my washer for about a month now and like it. Have not had any problems.

Good washer, a little noisy. Cool controls and glass top. Saves water.
