I love this wash machine, it is quite, holds a large amount of laundry. I can now get my laundry done in half the time!

Solid, sturdy. Does a great job. My parents have the same machine and love it.

I have had 2 front loader washing machines, my 1st a Kenmore was only 6 years old when it broke, my 2nd was a Samsung only 4 years old when it broke. After reading about front and top HE washing machine, I decided to try the top loader because the reviews I read on the front loaders complained about the bearings breaking, which is what happened to both of my washing machines. This Top Loader washing machine is great, love it, will never go back to a front loader ever again. The clothes come out smelling and looking clean. I have noticed a few things that some may consider problems, but I can live with these things. It is harder for me at 5'2" to get some clothes out of the tub, my husband it 6'0" and he does not have this problem. The clothes come out more wrinkled than my previous washers. Since it is a top loader- you cannot use the top to fold clothes on, unless you shut the lid. I keep the lid open after I use it so that I don't get a smell like the front loaders had. I have not smelled any odor from the top loader, but I have only had this machine for a short time. Overall I really like this washing machine and feel that the prices was great for what I have, I would lighly recommend this washing machine over the front loader any day.

After doing hours and hours of research online and at over 15 stores, we FINALLY found the washer from Heaven! As soon as I saw it, I fell in love. We got this washer for 31.5% off (got incredibly lucky) and it is one of the best purchases I've ever made! My girls use cloth diapers and instead of having to run our old washer 3 seperate times, using close to 120 gallons of water just for those, I use ONE cycle on this and they turned out even cleaner!!! The capacity of this washer is just mind-blowing incredible. I got home from purchasing this washer and got scared because of the rating - people complaining that it wrinkles clothes. I have not had this happen to me and if it did, I would just throw my clothes in the dryer. NOT ONE bad thing to say about this yet!

All in all, this machine does very well & holds a lot of laundry! Although it is a little loud, it isn't so bad that it really bothers us, but we also have it it in the basement too. It is great for energy savings though! My water bill already went down just having it for half the month! Looking forward to the next bill to see how much it really helps in a whole month :)

After lots of research, we purchased this washer /dryer set and have been very pleased. Owned this set for over a month now and have washed tons of laundry. First day we intiated the washer/dryer by washing a king size comforter. It worked great!!!! The drying time did have to be extended a little but you can change the preset times up or down following instructions in the manual. I haven't had any other issues that have been suggested here. Great capacity, stays balanced, cleans great, etc.

Have had this for a couple of months. Our old top-load needed replacement. Got this after comparing low-end priced energy-saver top-loaders. So far seems to work fine. Clothes are clean. Machine is pretty quiet. Started using faster spin cycle for towels and cut down dryer time by 1/3.

This machine was a HUGE disappointment. I had trouble from the 1st use. Called Whirlpool and their Customer Service leaves much to be desired. They did send a serviceman who did not fix the problem. The fabric softener dispenser was filled with water after each wash - it would sometimes empty itself after 3rd wash. I DO NOT use fabric softener but if I did I would not have been able to fill the dispenser since the water was filled to the MAX fill line, not to mention that stagnet water was sitting in the machine. Repairman poured a cup of water in dispenser, ran the drain cycle and the water disappeared (guess it must have thought it was wash number 3.) Problem continued, called Whirpool and they wanted to send another repairman. I inquired if they would be able to solve the problem - they said repairman would have to call them from my home if they could not. What a waste of my valuable time!! I told them the problem, you would think they would notifty the repairman BEFORE they came to my home and send him equipped with the knowledge to repair the machine. I asked for a supervisor (who was no help) and asked that person for their extension in the event my problem was not fixed. They could not provide me with one nor would they connect me with their supervisor. I was exhausted from the run around and decided to return the machine. I must say, Best Buy stands behind their merchandise - they cheerfully picked up the machine and delivered a new one of my choice - No problem. It's too bad Whirpool does not treat their customers the same way - maybe they would not have lost a customer.

Shopped extensively before finding this & its matching dryer. Wanted them big enough to launder big loads, quilts & comforters, & they are. I'd been very afraid of HE not getting laundry clean, but thankfully another reviewer was spot-on in recommending simply read owners manuals carefully before using machine, & then we'd be fine. I've pretreated heavily soiled items, & they've come out spotless every time. As per instructions, have only used HE detergent, & smell from having used Tide Sport w/Fabreeze liquid detergent has been wonderful, too, not only from having emminated throughout the house, but also from clothing worn, having been laundered with it. I hope this machine lasts for many years to come. Best price from Best Buy, then used earned points from this purchase to buy refrigerator a month later. We'll always buy from Best Buy.

This is the worst washer I have ever owned, we bought our cabrio in 2008 , it has started leaking about six months in, Best buy came out and replaced both pumps, then it continued to leak. The repair man suggested I buy a plastic pan to set it in and this turned out to be a much better investment than the washer itself, the pumps and the computer went out then and best buy fixed it again under warranty. After the warranty ran out it continued to leak, I have replaced both pumps about six times, the computer board twice and a number of other things. I still have to suck water out of the pan weekly and have never been able to get it to stop leaking. Every repair man that comes out tells us that cabrios are junk, it is now giving another code and not working again, we are looking at LGs now based on research and I suggest you do the same. Search this thing on the internet like I should have done and do not buy it. On a side note we bought all new appliances for our new house in 08', all were Whirlpool Gold, all that has made it this far is the side by side fridge, the rest have found their way to the dumpster, good luck.

GREAT washing machine that uses a lot less water and washes everything nice and clean. Read directions to load and everything comes out perfect and clean. Nice big pretty set with easy to use controls and very quiet when running. Best Buy has the best prices, I highly recommend this set.

Average performance. Can wash large loads, however large loads cannot be transferred to the matching dryer as the dryer can only dry small loads effectively. I should have read other negative consumer comments before making the purchase of washer and matching dryer.

The washer looks nice and washes a lot of clothes. My problem with this machine is that it is easily off balance and when that happens it slows down your wash time. It also shuts down when the clothes fall down on the aggitator ball.The cycles do take long to complete as well.Im a busy parent and I just dont have time to babysit a washer. I'm exchanging this for a front load washer. I still love whirlpool but just not this one.

I bought this washer because I had the dryer and was satified with it so I thought the washer would be good too,WRONG.... I hate this machine it is a piece of junk. I can not get through a load of wash without it stopping because the load is unlevel, everything gets all tangle up and wrinkles are the worst I have ever seen. I am considering giving this washer away , bought it in Aug. 2011, and getting one that works. It is suppose to be a large capasity washer, but 1 bedspread caused the rubber ring to shred in the 1st month. STAY AWAY from this machine. I have never written a review but this is how strongly I feel people should know before buying.

Loved this washer at first, then noticed I was getting streaks on my clothes, turns out the washer wasn't rinsing all the soap out, they compare it to deoderant stains. I have used the affresh 4 times in the last 2 1/2 months to try to clean the tub. I called, they told me to do smaller loads and use less detergant. I do NOT overfill my loads and I do NOT use to much detergent, husband thought I used to little already. I called again and they sent someone out, they said there's nothing wrong, use only 2 tbs of detergent. 2Tbs? ok, thats not even to the 1st line of the detergant cap! and my kids are into sports and get very sweaty! So, I tried it anyway, got out the tablespoon and measured 2. Well, my clothes still come out with residue on them, so now I use 2 tbs detergant AND the extra rinse cycle (so much for saving water), STILL have to re-rinse sweatshirts/pants and some t-shirts. Hope my kids don't smell!!

I constantly receive intermittent errors when using this machine, and the company will not back up their product and fix it. So I have to try and work around the constant F51 errors during a wash cycle. Find a better quality product!

I've had this for 1 day, and it is going back! The previous reviews are all accurate. The clothes are wrinkled up like in pleats, they don't clean! I tried various cycles, made sure I was conservative in not overloading it, and my clothes came out dirtier than before! I was so disappointed because it was a major purchase for me, and I was excited about having an easier time with a chore I don't like. The cycles are very long to try and clean them enough, and the clothes come out in pretty much the same position you put them in, with lint and dirt clumped up in wrinkled pockets of the clothes. I bought the cabrio steam dryer too, and it works like a dream. I'm keeping the dryer, but the washer is going back and I'll get a different brand.

Very easy to use and very quite while running. Our laundry room is on the first floor and we were worried about not getting the "anit-vibration" option. However, this washing is so smoothe and quiet - we are very happy with our purchase.
