The washer works great. However, when I purchased it, I asked about buying hoses for it, and was told that I didn't need them. The hoses did not come with the washer, so when the delivery crew came to install it, they were unable to do so. I then had to purchase the hoses and install the washer myself, which was not difficult, but it should have been taken care of in the beginning.

This is our third Cabrio. My wife is a quilter and we have a king-size bed. A quilt for the bed is BIG. This washer takes the quilt with no problem which is the main thing we look for in a washer. You do have to be careful to evenly distribute a large load so you don't get an unbalanced load. The one thing that I would strongly recommend is you buy the extended warranty if your are going to be washing large, heavy loads regularly. It's well worth the price to have the Geek Squad come out and service your washer periodically at no change.

We bought this machine because we knew Whirlpool has been around a long time and thought it would last a while. In less than a month we already had to call Geek Squad to come repair. The electronics inside were fried and took 2 trips and a week later to get repaired. It was covered under warranty so we didnt pay anything. Things have too much electronics inside now a days and I think thats the problem. So don't know if we just had some bad luck or got a bad machine. Hopefully this thing will last a while now.

First of all, before writing anything else let me start by letting you all know we are a family of 7. And with that, this washer is a big important piece of the family. In fact, this is our second Cabrio washer. Our first Cabrio washer did last us 6-7+ years. To some people that might not seem to have lasted very long, but that washer was used everyday for that number of years. Yea, we had 1 problem (the "shocks" gave out due to normal wear & tear) and called up the extended warranty people. They came by the house. They new exactly what it was and got it fixed quickly. Before buying our second Cabrio, we noticed that the machine was starting to hum louder than usually on the spin cycle. We agreed that it was due to more normal wear and tear, and decide it was time to replace it with a new washer. We looked around at other models and brands. Then we decide on this new HE top loading washer with a lot of features. Another reason we went with this one was pricing....we got it on a pretty good sale price (that made it a sweeter deal).

First off when we were looking for washer and dryer, we originally had Whirlpool and all the appliances in our new house were Whirlpool we never have had a bad experience with them as far as customer service or the products. We read reviews and decided on these. We looked at all the other stores and Best Buy was the cheapest. These retailed for $899 each and we bought the floor models for $699 each and also Best Buy was running a promotion that all sale appliances were an additional 15% off. We ended up getting the washer and dryer and all the hookups and install and delivery for about $1200. They seem to get clothes pretty clean, and the best feature is that both units sense when clothes or dry or clothes are clean and adjust the cycle accordingly. This is a great feature and is very Eco-friendly. Thanks for best buy for a great product and a great deal.

Nice concept but design seems to have limitations as to how deeply it can clean. The features are great and it is built extremely well. It usually works ok but a few times the clothes were not clean. You have use twice the amount of detergent to get the clothes to smell fresh. Nice unit but I wish I would have gotten something else.

Overall not a bad washer. Best buy delivery people were super nice. Actually called and asked if they could come a little early which was a great bonus for me since I had been without a washer for a week.

So far the machine is performing as advertised. The clothes come out clean, which is the whole purpose. Cannot say about reliability or savings as I have only been using it for a short time.
